ஆகையால் சேனையின் கர்த்தரும் இஸ்ரவேலின் வல்லவருமாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது: ஓகோ நான் என் சத்துருக்களில் கோபம் ஆறி, என் பகைஞருக்கு நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுவேன்.

of hosts, צְבָא֔וֹת ṣābāʾ tsa-VA
the mighty One אֲבִ֖יר ʾābîr ah-VEER
of Israel, יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
Ah, ה֚וֹי hôy hoy
I will ease אֶנָּחֵ֣ם nāḥam na-HAHM
me of mine adversaries, מִצָּרַ֔י ṣar tsahr
and avenge וְאִנָּקְמָ֖ה nāqam na-KAHM
me of mine enemies: מֵאוֹיְבָֽי׃ ʾōyēb oh-YAVE
