அவள் கர்ப்பத்திலே பிள்ளைகள் ஒன்றோடொன்று மோதிக்கொண்டிருந்தன; அப்பொழுது அவள்: இப்படியானால் எனக்கு எப்படியோ என்று சொல்லி, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசாரிக்கும்படி போனாள்.

If אִם ʾim eem
so, כֵּ֔ן kēn kane
why לָ֥מָּה mâ ma
thus? זֶּ֖ה ze zeh
I אָנֹ֑כִי ʾānōkî ah-noh-HEE
And she went וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ hālak ha-LAHK
to inquire לִדְרֹ֥שׁ dāraš da-RAHSH
of אֶת ʾēt ate
the Lord. יְהוָֽה׃ yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
