அவர்களை வெளியே கொண்டுபோய் விட்டபின்பு, அவர்: உன் ஜீவன் தப்ப ஓடிப்போ, பின்னிட்டுப் பாராதே; இந்தச் சமபூமியில் எங்கும் நிற்காதே; நீ அழியாதபடிக்கு மலைக்கு ஓடிப்போ என்றார்.

அவர்களை வெளியே கொண்டுபோய்விட்டபின்பு, அவர்: உன் உயிர் தப்ப ஓடிப்போ, திரும்பிப் பார்க்காதே; இந்தச் சமபூமியில் எங்கும் நிற்காதே; நீ அழியாமலிருக்க மலைக்கு ஓடிப்போ என்றார்.

எனவே, இரு தேவதூதர்களும் லோத்தையும் அவன் குடும்பத்தையும் பாதுகாப்பாக நகரத்திற்கு வெளியே கொண்டு வந்தபின்னர் தூதர்களில் ஒருவன், “இப்போது உங்கள் உயிரைக் காப்பாற்றிக்கொள்ள ஓடிப் போங்கள். இந்நகரத்தைத் திரும்பிப் பார்க்காதீர்கள். இந்தச் சமவெளியில் எங்கும் நிற்காதீர்கள். மலைக்குப் போய்ச் சேரும்வரை ஓடுங்கள். இடையில் நின்றால் நகரத்தோடு நீங்களும் அழிந்துபோவீர்கள்” என்றான்.
