கர்த்தர் இன்றைக்கு உங்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதம் அளிக்கும்படி, இன்றைக்கு நீங்கள் அவனவன் தன்தன் மகனுக்கும் சகோதரனுக்கும் விரோதமாயிருக்கிறதினால், கர்த்தருக்கு உங்களைப் பிரதிஷ்டை பண்ணுங்கள் என்று மோசே சொல்லியிருந்தான்.

மோசே, “தமக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்ய கர்த்தர் இன்று உங்களைத் தெரிந்தெடுத்தார். ஏனென்றால், இன்றைக்கு உங்களில் ஒவ்வொருவரும் அவனது மகனுக்கு எதிராகவும், சகோதரனுக்கு எதிராகவும் இருந்தீர்கள். எனவே இன்று அவர் உங்கள் மேல் ஆசீர்வாதம் பொழிவார்” என்றான்.
