உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாண புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிற அவருடைய கற்பனைகளையும் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளும்போதும், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில் உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உன் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் திரும்பும்போதும், கர்த்தர் உன் பிதாக்கள்மேல் சந்தோஷமாயிருந்ததுபோல, உன்மேலும் உனக்கு நன்மை உண்டாகத் திரும்பவும் சந்தோஷமாயிருப்பார்.

ஆனால் நீ உனது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொன்னபடி செய்ய வேண்டும். நீ அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய வேண்டும். இந்தப் போதனைகளின் புத்தகத்தில் சொல்லப்பட்டுள்ள விதிகளைப் பின்பற்ற வேண்டும். உனது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு நீ உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும், முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் கீழ்ப்படிய வேண்டும். அப்போது உனக்கு இந்த நன்மைகள் ஏற்படும்.

Un thaevanaakiya karththarutaiya saththaththirkuch sevikoduththu, intha niyaayappiramaana pusthakaththil eluthiyirukkira avarutaiya karpanaikalaiyum avarutaiya kattalaikalaiyum kaikkollumpothum, un thaevanaakiya karththaridaththil un mulu iruthayaththodum un mulu aaththumaavodum thirumpumpothum, Karththar un pithaakkalmael santhoshamaayirunthathupola, unmaelum unakku nanmai unndaakath thirumpavum santhoshamaayiruppaar.
