Psalm 143 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தாவே, என் ஜெபத்தைக் கேளும், என் விண்ணப்பங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடும்; உமது உண்மையின்படியும் உமது நீதியின்படியும் எனக்கு உத்தரவு அருளிச்செய்யும். Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

2 ஜீவனுள்ள ஒருவனும் உமக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமான் அல்லாததினாலே அடியேனை நியாயந்தீர்க்கப் பிரவேசியாதேயும். And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

3 சத்துரு என் ஆத்துமாவைத் தொடர்ந்து, என் பிராணனைத் தரையோடே நசுக்கி, வெகுகாலத்துக்குமுன் மரித்தவர்கள்போல் என்னை இருளில் இருக்கப்பண்ணுகிறான். For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

4 என் ஆவி என்னில் தியங்குகிறது; என் இருதயம் எனக்குள் சோர்ந்துபோகிறது. Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

5 பூர்வநாட்களை நினைக்கிறேன், உமது செய்கைகளையெல்லாம் தியானிக்கிறேன்; உமது கரத்தின் கிரியைகளை யோசிக்கிறேன். I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

6 என் கைகளை உமக்கு நேராக விரிக்கிறேன்; வறண்ட நிலத்தைப்போல் என் ஆத்துமா உம்மேல் தாகமாயிருக்கிறது. (சேலா.) I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

7 கர்த்தாவே, சீக்கிரமாய் எனக்குச் செவிகொடும், என் ஆவி தொய்ந்துபோகிது; நான் குழியில் இறங்குகிறவர்களுக்கு ஒப்பாகாதபடிக்கு, உமது முகத்தை எனக்கு மறையாதேயும். Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

8 அதிகாலையில் உமது கிருபையைக் கேட்கப்பண்ணும், உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன், நான் நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியை எனக்குக் காண்பியும்; உம்மிடத்தில் என் ஆத்துமாவை உயர்த்துகிறேன். Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

9 கர்த்தாவே, என் சத்துருக்களுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; உம்மைப் புகலிடமாகக் கொள்ளுகிறேன். Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

10 உமக்குப் பிரியமானதைச் செய்ய எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும் நீரே என் தேவன்; உம்முடைய நல்ல ஆவி என்னைச் செம்மையான வழியிலே நடத்துவாராக. Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

11 கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நாமத்தினிமித்தம் என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்; உம்முடைய நீதியின்படி என் ஆத்துமாவை இடுக்கத்திற்கு நீங்கலாக்கிவிடும். Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.

12 உம்முடைய கிருபையின்படி என் சத்துருக்களை அழித்து, என் ஆத்துமாவை ஒடுக்குகிற யாவரையும் சங்காரம்பண்ணும்; நான் உமது அடியேன். And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

1 Karththaavae, en jepaththaik kaelum, en vinnnappangalukkuch sevikodum; umathu unnmaiyinpatiyum umathu neethiyinpatiyum enakku uththaravu arulichcheyyum. Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

2 Jeevanulla oruvanum umakku munpaaka neethimaan allaathathinaalae atiyaenai niyaayantheerkkap piravaesiyaathaeyum. And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

3 Saththuru en aaththumaavaith thodarnthu, en piraananaith tharaiyotae nasukki, vekukaalaththukkumun mariththavarkalpol ennai irulil irukkappannnukiraan. For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

4 En aavi ennil thiyangukirathu; en iruthayam enakkul sornthupokirathu. Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

5 Poorvanaatkalai ninaikkiraேn, umathu seykaikalaiyellaam thiyaanikkiraேn; umathu karaththin kiriyaikalai yosikkiraேn. I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

6 En kaikalai umakku naeraaka virikkiraேn; varannda nilaththaippol en aaththumaa ummael thaakamaayirukkirathu. (selaa.) I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

7 Karththaavae, seekkiramaay enakkuch sevikodum, en aavi thoynthupokithu; naan kuliyil irangukiravarkalukku oppaakaathapatikku, umathu mukaththai enakku maraiyaathaeyum. Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

8 Athikaalaiyil umathu kirupaiyaik kaetkappannnum, ummai nampiyirukkiraேn, naan nadakkavaenntiya valiyai enakkuk kaannpiyum; ummidaththil en aaththumaavai uyarththukiraேn. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

9 Karththaavae, en saththurukkalukku ennaith thappuviyum; ummaip pukalidamaakak kollukiraேn. Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

10 Umakkup piriyamaanathaich seyya enakkup pothiththarulum neerae en Dhevan; ummutaiya nalla aavi ennaich semmaiyaana valiyilae nadaththuvaaraaka. Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

11 Karththaavae, ummutaiya naamaththinimiththam ennai uyirppiyum; ummutaiya neethiyinpati en aaththumaavai idukkaththirku neengalaakkividum. Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.

12 Ummutaiya kirupaiyinpati en saththurukkalai aliththu, en aaththumaavai odukkukira yaavaraiyum sangaarampannnum; naan umathu atiyaen. And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
