Psalm 112 in Tamil

1 அல்லேலுூயா, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, அவருடைய கட்டளைகளில் மிகவும் பிரியமாயிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான். Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 அவன் சந்ததி பூமியில் பலத்திருக்கும், செம்மையானவர்களின் வம்சம் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும். His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 ஆஸ்தியும் ஐசுவரியமும் அவன் வீட்டிலிருக்கும்; அவனுடைய நீதி என்றைக்கும் நிற்கும். Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 செம்மையானவர்களுக்கு இருளிலே வெளிச்சம் உதிக்கும்; அவன் இரக்கமும் மன உருக்கமும் நீதியுமுள்ளவன். Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5 இரங்கிக் கடன்கொடுத்து, தன் காரியங்களை நியாயமானபடி நடப்பிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான். A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 அவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் அசைக்கப்படாதிருப்பான்; நீதிமான் நித்திய கீர்த்தியுள்ளவன். Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 துர்ச்செய்தியைக் கேட்கிறதினால் பயப்படான்; அவன் இருதயம் கர்த்தரை நம்பித் திடனாயிருக்கும். He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

8 அவன் இருதயம் உறுதியாயிருக்கும்; அவன் தன் சத்துருக்களில் சரிக்கட்டுதலைக் காணுமட்டும் பயப்படாதிருப்பான். His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

9 வாரியிறைத்தான் ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுத்தான், அவனுடைய நீதி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்; அவன் கொம்பு மகிமையாய் உயர்த்தப்படும். He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 துன்மார்க்கன் அதைக் கண்டு மனமடிவாகி, தன் பற்களைக் கடித்துக் கரைந்துபோவான்; துன்மார்க்கருடைய ஆசை அழியும். The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

1 Allaeluூyaa, karththarukkup payanthu, avarutaiya kattalaikalil mikavum piriyamaayirukkira manushan paakkiyavaan. Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 Avan santhathi poomiyil palaththirukkum, semmaiyaanavarkalin vamsam aaseervathikkappadum. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 Aasthiyum aisuvariyamum avan veettilirukkum; avanutaiya neethi entaikkum nirkum. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 Semmaiyaanavarkalukku irulilae velichcham uthikkum; avan irakkamum mana urukkamum neethiyumullavan. Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5 Irangik kadankoduththu, than kaariyangalai niyaayamaanapati nadappikkira manushan paakkiyavaan. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 Avan ententaikkum asaikkappadaathiruppaan; neethimaan niththiya geerththiyullavan. Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 Thurchcheythiyaik kaetkirathinaal payappadaan; avan iruthayam karththarai nampith thidanaayirukkum. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

8 Avan iruthayam uraுthiyaayirukkum; avan than saththurukkalil sarikkattuthalaik kaanumattum payappadaathiruppaan. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

9 Vaariyiraiththaan aelaikalukkuk koduththaan, avanutaiya neethi ententaikkum nirkum; avan kompu makimaiyaay uyarththappadum. He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 Thunmaarkkan athaik kanndu manamativaaki, than parkalaik katiththuk karainthupovaan; thunmaarkkarutaiya aasai aliyum. The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
