பொய்ச்சாட்சிகளையும் நிறுத்தினார்கள். இவர்கள்: இந்த மனுஷன் இந்தப் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்கும் வேதப்பிரமாணத்துக்கும் விரோதமாகத் தூஷண வார்த்தைகளை ஓயாமற் பேசுகிறான்;

யூதர்கள் சிலரை அக்கூட்டத்திற்கு அழைத்து வந்தனர். ஸ்தேவானைக் குறித்துப் பொய் சொல்லும்படி அவர்களுக்கு யூதர்கள் கூறியிருந்தனர். அந்த மனிதர்கள், “இவன் எப்போதும் பரிசுத்தமான இடத்தைக் குறித்துக் கெட்டதையே சொல்கிறான். மோசேயின் சட்டத்திற்கு எதிராகவே எப்போதும் சொல்கிறான்.
