அப்பொழுது செருயாவின் குமாரன் அபிசாய் ராஜாவை நோக்கி: அந்தச் செத்தநாய் ராஜாவாகிய என் ஆண்டவனை தூஷிப்பானேன்? நான் போய் அவன் தலையை வாங்கிப்போடட்டுமே என்றான்.

செருயாவின் மகனாகிய அபிசாய் அரசனை நோக்கி, “எனது அரசனாகிய ஆண்டவரே, ஏன் இந்த மரித்த நாய் உம்மை சபிக்க வேண்டும்? நான் சீமேயியின் தலையை வெட்டப் போகிறேன்” என்றான்.

the king, הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ melek meh-LEK

curse יְקַלֵּ֞ל qālal ka-LAHL
dog הַכֶּ֤לֶב keleb keh-LEV
dead הַמֵּת֙ mût moot
should this הַזֶּ֔ה ze zeh
אֶת ʾēt ate
my lord אֲדֹנִ֖י ʾādôn ah-DONE
