சாப்பிட அதை ஜனங்களுக்கு வார்த்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் அந்தக் கூழில் எடுத்துச் சாப்பிடுகிறபோது, அதைச் சாப்பிடக் கூடாமல்; தேவனுடைய மனுஷனே, பானையில் சாவு இருக்கிறது என்று சத்தமிட்டார்கள்.

to eat. לֶֽאֱכ֑וֹל ʾākal ah-HAHL
And it came to pass, וַ֠יְהִי hāyâ ha-YA
as they were eating כְּאָכְלָ֨ם ʾākal ah-HAHL
of the pottage, מֵֽהַנָּזִ֜יד nāzîd na-ZEED
that they וְהֵ֣מָּה hēm hame
cried out, צָעָ֗קוּ ṣāʿaq tsa-AK
and said, וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
death מָ֤וֶת māwet ma-VET
in the pot. בַּסִּיר֙ sîr seer
O man אִ֣ישׁ ʾîš eesh
of God, הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
not וְלֹ֥א lōʾ loh
And they could יָֽכְל֖וּ yākōl ya-HOLE
eat לֶֽאֱכֹֽל׃ ʾākal ah-HAHL
