அப்பொழுது அவன் கேயாசியைப் பார்த்து: நீ உன் இடையைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு, என் தடியை உன் கையில் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, வழியில் ஒருவனைச் சந்தித்தாலும் அவனை வினவாமலும், உன்னை ஒருவன் வினவினாலும் அவனுக்கு மறுமொழி சொல்லாமலும் போய்; என் தடியை அந்தப் பிள்ளையின் முகத்தின்மேல் வை என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது அவன் கேயாசியைப் பார்த்து: நீ உன் பயணத்திற்கான உடையை அணிந்துகொண்டு, என் தடியை உன் கையில் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, வழியில் யாரைச் சந்தித்தாலும் அவனைக் கேள்வி கேட்காமலும், உன்னை ஒருவன் கேள்வி கேட்டாலும் அவனுக்கு பதில் சொல்லாமலும் போய், என் தடியை அந்தச் சிறுவனின் முகத்தின்மேல் வை என்றான்.

பிறகு எலிசா கேயாசியிடம், “புறப்படுவதற்குத் தயார்செய்! எனது கைத்தடியை எடுத்துக் கொண்டுபோ. பேசுவதற்காக யாரையும் நிறுத்தாதே. யாரையாவது சந்தித்தாலும் நீ அவர்களை நலம் கூடி விசாரிக்க வேண்டாம். யாராவது விசாரித்தாலும் பதில் சொல்லவேண்டாம்! எனது கைத் தடியை அந்த பிள்ளையின் முகத்தில் வை” என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது அவர் கேகசியை நோக்கி, “நீ இடுப்பை வரிந்து கட்டிக் கொண்டு, எனது ஊன்று கோலை உன் கையில் எடுத்துக் கொண்டு போ. வழியில் யாரையாவது கண்டால் வணக்கம் செய்யாதே. உனக்கு யாராவது வணக்கம் செய்தாலும் பதில் வணக்கம் செய்யாதே. என் ஊன்றுகோலைப் பிள்ளையின் முகத்தின் மேல் வை” என்றார்.

Appoluthu avan kaeyaasiyaip paarththu: nee un itaiyaik kattikkonndu, en thatiyai un kaiyil pitiththukkonndu, valiyil oruvanaich santhiththaalum avanai vinavaamalum, unnai oruvan vinavinaalum avanukku maraுmoli sollaamalum poy; en thatiyai anthap pillaiyin mukaththinmael vai entan.

in thine hand, בְיָֽדְךָ֮ yād yahd
and go thy way: וָלֵךְ֒ hālak ha-LAHK
if כִּֽי kî kee
thou meet תִמְצָ֥א māṣāʾ ma-TSA
