பெலிஸ்தர் யுத்தம்பண்ணுகிறதற்குத் தங்கள் சேனைகளைச் சேர்த்து, யூதாவிலுள்ள சோக்கோவிலே ஒருமித்துக் கூடி, சோக்கோவுக்கும் அசெக்காவுக்கும் நடுவே இருக்கிற எபேஸ்தம்மீமிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.
