சவுல் இருந்த நாளெல்லாம் பெலிஸ்தரின் மேல் கடினமான யுத்தம் நடந்தது; சவுல் ஒரு பராக்கிரமசாலியையாகிலும் ஒரு பலசாலியையாகிலும் காணும்போது, அவர்கள் எல்லாரையும் தன்னிடமாகச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுவான்.
