1 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட நானூற்று எண்பதாம் வருஷத்திலும், சாலொமோன் இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவான நாலாம் வருஷம் சீப்மாதமாகிய இரண்டாம் மாதத்திலும், அவன் கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டத்தொடங்கினான். And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

2 சாலொமோன் ராஜா கர்த்தருக்குக் கட்டின ஆலயம் அறுபது முழநீளமும், இருபது முழ அகலமும், முப்பது முழ உயரமுமாயிருந்தது. And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.

And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.

4 பார்வைக்குக் குறுகிப்போகிற ஒடுக்கமான ஜன்னல்களை ஆலயத்திற்குச் செய்வித்தான். And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.

5 அவன் தேவாலயத்தின் சுவரும் சந்நிதி ஸ்தானச்சுவருமாகிய ஆலயத்தின் சுவர்களுக்கு அடுத்ததாய்ச் சுற்றுக்கட்டுகளைக் கட்டி, அவைகளில் அறைகளைச் சுற்றிலும் உண்டாக்கினான். And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:

The nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad: for without in the wall of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house.

The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.

9 இவ்விதமாய் அவன் ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டி, கேதுருமர உத்திரங்களாலும் பலகைகளாலும் ஆலயத்தை மச்சுப்பாவி முடித்தான். So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.

10 அவன் ஐந்துமுழ உயரமான சுற்றுக் கட்டுகளை ஆலயத்தின்மேலெங்கும் கட்டுவித்தான்; அவைகள் கேதுருமரங்களால் ஆலயத்தோடே இணைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. And then he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.

11 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை சாலொமோனுக்கு உண்டாயிற்று; அவர் And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,

12 நீ என் கட்டளைகளின்படி நடந்து, என் நீதி நியாயங்களை நிறைவேற்றி, என் கற்பனைகளின்படியெல்லாம் நடந்து கொள்ளும்படிக்கு, அவைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டால், நீ கட்டுகிற இந்த ஆலயத்தைக் குறித்து நான் உன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதோடே சொன்ன என் வார்த்தையை உன்னிடத்தில் நிறைவேற்றி, Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:

13 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் நடுவிலே வாசம்பண்ணி, என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலைக் கைவிடாதிருப்பேன் என்றார். And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.

14 அப்படியே சாலொமோன் ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டி முடித்தான். So Solomon built the house, and finished it.

15 ஆலயத்துச் சுவர்களின் உட்புறத்தை, தளம்தொடங்கிச் சுவர்களின் மேல்மச்சுமட்டும், கேதுருப்பலகைகளால் மூடி, இப்படி உட்புறத்தை மரவேலையாக்கி, ஆலயத்தின் தளத்தை தேவதாரி விருட்சங்களின் பலகைகளால் தளவரிசைப்படுத்தினான். And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the ceiling: and he covered them on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.

And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for it within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.

17 அதின் முன்னிருக்கிற தேவாலயமாகிய மாளிகை நாற்பதுமுழ நீளமாயிருந்தது. And the house, that is, the temple before it, was forty cubits long.

18 ஆலயத்திற்குள் இருக்கிற கேதுருமரங்களில் மொக்குகளும் மலர்ந்த பூக்களுமான சித்திரவேலை செய்திருந்தது; பார்வைக்கு ஒரு கல்லாகிலும் காணப்படாமல் எல்லாம் கேதுருமரமாயிருந்தது. And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.

19 கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை வைக்கிறதற்கு ஆலயத்துக்குள்ளே சந்நிதி ஸ்தானத்தை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினான். And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

20 சந்நிதி ஸ்தானம் முன்புறமட்டும் இருபதுமுழ நீளமும், இருபது முழ அகலமும், இருபதுமுழ உயரமுமாயிருந்தது; அதைப் பசும்பொன் தகட்டால் மூடினான்; கேதுருமரப் பலிபீடத்தையும் அப்படியே மூடினான். And the oracle in the forepart was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar.

So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.

And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.

25 மற்றக் கேருபீனும் பத்து முழமாயிருந்தது; இரண்டு கேருபீன்களும் ஒரே அளவும் ஒரே திட்டமுமாயிருந்தது. And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubim were of one measure and one size.

And he set the cherubim within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubim, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.

28 அந்தக் கேருபீன்களைப் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடினான். And he overlaid the cherubim with gold.

29 ஆலயத்தின் சுவர்களையெல்லாம் அவன் சுற்றிலும் உள்ளும் புறம்புமாகக் கேருபீன்களும் பேரீந்துகளும் மலர்ந்த பூக்களுமான சித்திரங்களும் கொத்து வேலைகளுமாக்கினான். And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.

30 உள்ளும் புறம்புமாயிருக்கிற ஆலயத்துத் தளவரிசையையும் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடினான். And the floors of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.

31 சந்நிதி ஸ்தானத்தின் வாசலுக்கு ஒலிவமரங்களால் இரட்டைக் கதவுகளைச் செய்தான்; மேல் சட்டமும் நிலைகளும் மறைப்பின் அளவில் ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்காயிருந்தது. And for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the wall.

The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubim, and upon the palm trees.

33 இப்படி தேவாலயத்தின் வாசலுக்கும் ஒலிவமர நிலைகளைச் செய்தான்; அது சுவர் அளவில் நாலத்தொரு பங்காயிருந்தது. So also made he for the door of the temple posts of olive tree, a fourth part of the wall.

34 அதின் இரண்டு கதவுகளும் தேவதாரிப் பலகைகளால் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது; ஒரு கதவுக்கு இரண்டு மடிப்புப் பலகைகளும், மற்ற கதவுகளுக்கு இரண்டு மடிப்புப் பலகைகளும் இருந்தது. And the two doors were of fir tree: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.

35 அவைகளில் கேருபீன்களும் பேரீந்துகளும் மலர்ந்த பூக்களுமான சித்திரங்களுக்குச் சரியாகச் செய்யப்பட்ட பொன் தகட்டால் அவைகளை மூடினான். And he carved thereon cherubim and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.

36 அவன் உட்பிராகாரத்தை மூன்று வரிசை வெட்டின கற்களாலும், ஒரு வரிசை கேதுருப் பலகைகளாலும் கட்டினான். And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.

37 நாலாம் வருஷம் சீப்மாதத்திலே கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்கு அஸ்திபாரம் போட்டு, In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif:

38 பதினோராம் வருஷம் பூல் என்னும் எட்டாம் மாதத்திலே, அந்த ஆலயமுழுதும் சகல சட்டதிட்டத்தின்படியே ஒரு பங்கும் குறையாமல் கட்டித் தீர்ந்தது; அவன் அதைக் கட்டிமுடிக்க ஏழுவருஷம் சென்றது. And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.

1 Israel puththirar ekipthu thaesaththilirunthu purappatta naanoottaு ennpathaam varushaththilum, saalomon isravaelinmael raajaavaana naalaam varusham seepmaathamaakiya iranndaam maathaththilum, avan karththarin aalayaththaik kattaththodanginaan. And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

2 Saalomon raajaa karththarukkuk kattina aalayam araுpathu mulaneelamum, irupathu mula akalamum, muppathu mula uyaramumaayirunthathu. And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.

3 Aalayamaakiya antha maalikaiyin mukappilae avan kattina manndapam aalayaththin akalaththirkuch sariyaay irupathumula neelamum, aalayaththukku munnae paththumula akalamumaayirunthathu. And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.

4 Paarvaikkuk kuraுkippokira odukkamaana jannalkalai aalayaththirkuch seyviththaan. And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.

5 Avan thaevaalayaththin suvarum sannithi sthaanachchuvarumaakiya aalayaththin suvarkalukku aduththathaaych suttaுkkattukalaik katti, avaikalil araikalaich suttilum unndaakkinaan. And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:

6 Geelae irukkira suttaுkkattu ainthu mula akalamum, naduvae irukkirathu aaraு mula akalamum, moontavathaayirukkirathu aelumula akalamumaayirunthathu; avaikal aalayaththinutaiya suvarkalilae thaangaatha patikku aalayaththaich suttilum purampae ottuchchuvarkalaik kattuviththaan. 7 Aalayam kattappadukaiyil, athu pannitheernthu konnduvarappatta karkalaalae kattappattathu; aakaiyaal athu kattappadukirapothu, suththikal vaachchikal muthalaana entha iruppu aayuthangalin saththamum athilae kaetkappadavillai. And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.

8 Nadu araikalukkup pokira vaasarpati aalayaththin valathupuraththil irunthathu; sularpatikalaal nadu araikalukkum, nadu araikalilirunthu moontavathu araikalukkum aeraுvaarkal. The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.

9 Ivvithamaay avan aalayaththaik katti, kaethurumara uththirangalaalum palakaikalaalum aalayaththai machchuppaavi mutiththaan. So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.

10 Avan ainthumula uyaramaana suttaுk kattukalai aalayaththinmaelengum kattuviththaan; avaikal kaethurumarangalaal aalayaththotae innaikkappattirunthathu. And then he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.

11 Appoluthu karththarutaiya vaarththai saalomonukku unndaayittaு; avar And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,

12 Nee en kattalaikalinpati nadanthu, en neethi niyaayangalai niraivaetti, en karpanaikalinpatiyellaam nadanthu kollumpatikku, avaikalaik kaikkonndaal, nee kattukira intha aalayaththaik kuriththu naan un thakappanaakiya thaaveethotae sonna en vaarththaiyai unnidaththil niraivaetti, Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:

14 Appatiyae saalomon aalayaththaik katti mutiththaan. So Solomon built the house, and finished it.

15 Aalayaththuch suvarkalin utpuraththai, thalamthodangich suvarkalin maelmachchumattum, kaethuruppalakaikalaal mooti, ippati utpuraththai maravaelaiyaakki, aalayaththin thalaththai thaevathaari virutchangalin palakaikalaal thalavarisaippaduththinaan. And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the ceiling: and he covered them on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.

16 Thalavarisai thodangich suvarkalin uyaramattum aalayaththin pakkangalaith thodarnthirukkira irupathu mula neelamaana maraippaiyum kaethuruppalakaikalaal unndaakki, utpuraththai makaa Parisuththamaana sannithi sthaanamaakak kattinaan. And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for it within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.

17 Athin munnirukkira thaevaalayamaakiya maalikai naarpathumula neelamaayirunthathu. And the house, that is, the temple before it, was forty cubits long.

18 Aalayaththirkul irukkira kaethurumarangalil mokkukalum malarntha pookkalumaana siththiravaelai seythirunthathu; paarvaikku oru kallaakilum kaanappadaamal ellaam kaethurumaramaayirunthathu. And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.

19 Karththarutaiya udanpatikkaip pettiyai vaikkiratharku aalayaththukkullae sannithi sthaanaththai aayaththappaduththinaan. And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

20 Sannithi sthaanam munpuramattum irupathumula neelamum, irupathu mula akalamum, irupathumula uyaramumaayirunthathu; athaip pasumpon thakattal mootinaan; kaethurumarap palipeedaththaiyum appatiyae mootinaan. And the oracle in the forepart was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar.

21 Aalayaththin utpuraththaich saalomon pasumpon thakattal mooti, sannithi sthaanaththin maraippukkum pon sangilikalaik kuraுkkae pottu, athaip pon thakattal mootinaan. So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.

22 Ippati aalayam muluvathum kattith theerumattum, avan aalayam muluvathaiyum pon thakattal mooti, sannithi sthaanaththirku munpaaka irukkira palipeedaththai muluvathum ponthakattal mootinaan. And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that was by the oracle he overlaid with gold.

23 Sannithi sthaanaththil olivamarangalaal iranndu kaerupeenkalaich seythu vaiththaan; ovvontum paththumula uyaramaayirunthathu. And within the oracle he made two cherubim of olive tree, each ten cubits high.

24 Kaerupeenukku irukkira oru settaை ainthu mulamum kaerupeenin mattach settaை ainthu mulamumaay, ippati oru settaைyin kataisi munaithodangi mattach settaைyin kataisimunaimattum paththu mulamaayirunthathu. And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.

25 Mattak kaerupeenum paththu mulamaayirunthathu; iranndu kaerupeenkalum orae alavum orae thittamumaayirunthathu. And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubim were of one measure and one size.

26 Oru kaerupeen paththumula uyaramaayirunthathu; mattak kaerupeenum appatiyae irunthathu. The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub.

27 Anthak kaerupeenkalai ul aalayaththilae vaiththaan; kaerupeenkalin settaைkal virinthirunthathinaal, oru kaerupeenin settaை orupakkaththuch suvarilum, mattak kaerupeenin settaை maraுpakkaththuch suvarilum thodaththakkathaayirunthathu; aalayaththin nadumaiyaththil, avaikalin settaைkal ontaொtontu thodaththakkathaayirunthathu. And he set the cherubim within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubim, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.

28 Anthak kaerupeenkalaip ponthakattal mootinaan. And he overlaid the cherubim with gold.

29 Aalayaththin suvarkalaiyellaam avan suttilum ullum purampumaakak kaerupeenkalum paereenthukalum malarntha pookkalumaana siththirangalum koththu vaelaikalumaakkinaan. And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.

30 Ullum purampumaayirukkira aalayaththuth thalavarisaiyaiyum ponthakattal mootinaan. And the floors of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.

31 Sannithi sthaanaththin vaasalukku olivamarangalaal irattaைk kathavukalaich seythaan; mael sattamum nilaikalum maraippin alavil ainthil oru pangaayirunthathu. And for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the wall.

32 Olivamaramaana antha irattaைk kathavukalil avan kaerupeenkalum paereenthukalum malarntha pookkalumaana siththirangalaich seythu, anthak kaerupeenkalilum paereenthukalilum ponpathiyaththakkathaayp pon thakattal mootinaan.
