1 கோத்திரங்களின் தலைவரும், ராஜாவைச் சேவிக்கிற வகுப்புகளின் தலைவரும், ஆயிரம்பேருக்கு அதிபதிகளும், நூறுபேருக்கு அதிபதிகளும் ராஜாவுக்கும் ராஜகுமாரருக்கும் உண்டான எல்லா ஆஸ்தியையும் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் விசாரிக்கிற தலைவருமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின் சகல பிரபுக்களையும், பிரதானிகளையும், பலசாலிகளையும், சகல பராக்கிரமசாலிகளையும் தாவீது எருசலேமிலே கூடிவரச்செய்தான். And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and the captains over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards over all the substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, with the officers, and with the mighty men, and with all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem.

2 அப்பொழுது ராஜாவாகிய தாவீது: எழுந்திருந்து காலுூன்றி நின்று: என் சகோதரரே, என் ஜனமே, நான் சொல்வதைக் கேளுங்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியும் நமது தேவனுடைய பாதபடியும் தங்குவதற்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்ட நான் என் மனதிலே நினைத்து, கட்டுகிறதற்கு ஆயத்தமும் பண்ணினேன். Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:

3 ஆனாலும் தேவன் நீ என் நாமத்திற்கு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டவேண்டாம்; நீ யுத்த மனுஷனாயிருந்து, ரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தினாய் என்றார். But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood.

4 இப்போதும் இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்தின்மேலும் என்றைக்கும் ராஜாவாயிருக்க, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவன் தகப்பனுடைய வீட்டாரில் எல்லாம் என்னைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; அவர் யூதாவையும் யூதாவின் வம்சத்தில் அவன் தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தையும் தலைமையாக தெரிந்துகொண்டு, என்னை எல்லா இஸ்ரவேலின்மேலும் ராஜாவாக்க, என் தகப்பனுடைய குமாரருக்குள் என்மேல் பிரியம் வைத்தார். Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:

5 கர்த்தர் எனக்கு அநேகம் குமாரரைத் தந்தருளினார்; ஆனாலும் இஸ்ரவேலை ஆளும் கர்த்தருடைய ராஜ்யபாரத்தின் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் உட்காருகிறதற்கு அவர் என்னுடைய எல்லாக் குமாரரிலும் என் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.

6 அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: உன் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனே என் ஆலயத்தையும் என் பிரகாரங்களையும் கட்டக்கடவன்; அவனை எனக்குக் குமாரனாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்டேன்; நான் அவனுக்குப் பிதாவாயிருப்பேன். And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

7 இந்நாளில் நடக்கிறபடியே அவன் என் கற்பனைகளின்படியும் என் நியாயங்களின்படியும் செய்ய உறுதியாயிருப்பானானால், அவன் ராஜ்யபாரத்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் திடப்படுத்துவேன் என்றார். Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.

Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.

9 என் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனே, நீ என் பிதாவின் தேவனை அறிந்து, அவரை உத்தம இருதயத்தோடும் உற்சாக மனதோடும் சேவி; கர்த்தர் எல்லா இருதயங்களையும் ஆராய்ந்து, நினைவுகளின் தோற்றங்களையெல்லாம் அறிகிறார்; நீ அவரைத் தேடினால் உனக்குத் தென்படுவார்; நீ அவரை விட்டுவிட்டால் அவர் உன்னை என்றைக்கும் கைவிடுவார். And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

10 இப்போதும் எச்சரிக்கையாயிரு; பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலமாக ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக்கட்டுவதற்குக் கர்த்தர் உன்னைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; நீ திடன்கொண்டு அதை நடப்பி என்று சொன்னான். Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.

11 தாவீது தன் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு மண்டபமும், அதின் அறைகளும், அதின் பொக்கிஷசாலைகளும், அதின் மேல்வீடுகளும், அதின் உள்ளறைகளும், கிருபாசன ஸ்தானம் இருக்கவேண்டிய மாதிரியையும், Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlors thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,

13 ஆசாரியரையும் லேவியரையும் வரிசைகளாக வகுக்கிறதற்கும், கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயப்பணிவிடை வேலை அனைத்திற்கும், கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்து வேலையின் பணிமுட்டுகள் அனைத்திற்குமுரிய கட்டளையையும் கொடுத்தான். Also for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD.

14 அவன் பற்பல வேலைக்கு வேண்டிய சகல பொற்பாத்திரங்களுக்காக நிறையின்படி பொன்னையும், பற்பல வேலைக்குவேண்டிய சகல வெள்ளிப்பாத்திரங்களுக்காக, நிறையின்படி வெள்ளியையும், He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all instruments of all manner of service; silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every kind of service:

15 பொன் விளக்குத்தண்டுகளுக்கும் அவைகளின் பொன் விளக்குகளுக்கும், ஒவ்வொரு விளக்குத்தண்டுக்கும் அதின் விளக்குகளுக்கும் நிறையின்படி வேண்டிய பொன்னையும், வெள்ளி விளக்குத்தண்டுகளில் ஒவ்வொரு விளக்குத்தண்டுக்கும் அதின் விளக்குகளுக்கும் நிறையின்படி வேண்டிய வெள்ளியையும், Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick.

16 சமுகத்தப்பங்களை வைக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மேஜைக்கும் நிறையின்படி வேண்டிய பொன்னையும், வெள்ளி மேைஐகளுக்கு வேண்டிய வெள்ளியையும், And by weight he gave gold for the tables of shewbread, for every table; and likewise silver for the tables of silver:

17 முள்குறடுகளுக்கும் கலங்களுக்கும் தட்டுகளுக்கும் வேண்டிய பசும்பொன்னையும், பொன் கிண்ணிகளில் ஒவ்வொரு கிண்ணிக்கும் நிறையின்படி வேண்டியதையும், வெள்ளிக்கிண்ணிகளில் ஒவ்வொரு கிண்ணிக்கும் நிறையின்படி வேண்டியதையும், Also pure gold for the fleshhooks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for the golden basins he gave gold by weight for every basin; and likewise silver by weight for every basin of silver:

18 தூபங்காட்டும் பீடத்திற்கு நிறையின்படி வேண்டிய புடமிடப்பட்ட பொன்னையும் கொடுத்து, செட்டைகளை விரித்துக் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப்பெட்டியை மூடும் பொன் கேருபீன்களான வாகனத்தின் மாதிரியையும் கொடுத்து, And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubim, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

19 இந்த மாதிரியின்படி சகல வேலைகளும் எனக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்த, இவையெல்லாம் கர்த்தருடைய கரத்தினால் எனக்கு எழுதிக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டது என்றான். All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.

20 தாவீது தன் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோனை நோக்கி: நீ பலங்கொண்டு தைரியமாயிருந்து, இதை நடப்பி; நீ பயப்படாமலும் கலங்காமலும் இரு; தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்னும் என் தேவன் உன்னோடே இருப்பார்; கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுகிறதற்கடுத்த சகல கிரியைகளையும் நீ முடித்துத் தீருமட்டும், அவர் உன்னைவிட்டு விலகவுமாட்டார், உன்னைக் கைவிடவுமாட்டார். And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skillful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment.

1 Koththirangalin thalaivarum, raajaavaich sevikkira vakuppukalin thalaivarum, aayirampaerukku athipathikalum, nooraுpaerukku athipathikalum raajaavukkum raajakumaararukkum unndaana ellaa aasthiyaiyum mirukajeevankalaiyum visaarikkira thalaivarumaakiya isravaelin sakala pirapukkalaiyum, pirathaanikalaiyum, palasaalikalaiyum, sakala paraakkiramasaalikalaiyum David erusalaemilae kootivarachcheythaan. 2 Appoluthu raajaavaakiya David: elunthirunthu kaaluூnti nintu: en sakothararae, en janamae, naan solvathaik kaelungal; karththarutaiya udanpatikkaip pettiyum namathu thaevanutaiya paathapatiyum thanguvatharku oru aalayaththaik katta naan en manathilae ninaiththu, kattukiratharku aayaththamum pannnninaen. Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:

3 Aanaalum Dhevan nee en naamaththirku aalayaththaik kattavaenndaam; nee yuththa manushanaayirunthu, raththaththaich sinthinaay entar. But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood.

4 Ippothum Israel anaiththinmaelum entaikkum raajaavaayirukka, isravaelin thaevanaakiya Karththar avan thakappanutaiya veettaril ellaam ennaith therinthukonndaar; avar yoothaavaiyum yoothaavin vamsaththil avan thakappan kudumpaththaiyum thalaimaiyaaka therinthukonndu, ennai ellaa isravaelinmaelum raajaavaakka, en thakappanutaiya kumaararukkul enmael piriyam vaiththaar. Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:

5 Karththar enakku anaekam kumaararaith thantharulinaar; aanaalum isravaelai aalum karththarutaiya raajyapaaraththin singaasanaththinmael utkaarukiratharku avar ennutaiya ellaak kumaararilum en kumaaranaakiya saalomonaith therinthukonndu, And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.

6 Avar ennai Nnokki: un kumaaranaakiya saalomonae en aalayaththaiyum en pirakaarangalaiyum kattakkadavan; avanai enakkuk kumaaranaakath therinthukonntaen; naan avanukkup pithaavaayiruppaen. And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

7 Innaalil nadakkirapatiyae avan en karpanaikalinpatiyum en niyaayangalinpatiyum seyya uraுthiyaayiruppaanaanaal, avan raajyapaaraththai ententaikkum thidappaduththuvaen entar. Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.

8 Ippothum neengal ententaikkum intha nalla thaesaththaich suthantharamaay anupaviththu, ungalukkuppiraku athai ungal pillaikalukkuch suthanthamaayp pinvaikkumporuttaka, neengal ungal thaevanaakiya karththarin karpanaikalaiyellaam kaikkonndu visaariyungal entu karththarin Sabaiyaakiya Israel anaiththin kannkalukkumunpaakavum, namathu thaevanutaiya sevikaetkavum ungalukkup puththisollukiraேn. Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.

9 En kumaaranaakiya saalomonae, nee en pithaavin thaevanai arinthu, avarai uththama iruthayaththodum ursaaka manathodum sevi; Karththar ellaa iruthayangalaiyum aaraaynthu, ninaivukalin thottangalaiyellaam arikiraar; nee avaraith thaetinaal unakkuth thenpaduvaar; nee avarai vittuvittal avar unnai entaikkum kaividuvaar. And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

10 Ippothum echcharikkaiyaayiru; Parisuththa sthalamaaka oru aalayaththaikkattuvatharkuk Karththar unnaith therinthukonndaar; nee thidankonndu athai nadappi entu sonnaan. Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.

11 David than kumaaranaakiya saalomonukku manndapamum, athin araikalum, athin pokkishasaalaikalum, athin maelveedukalum, athin ullaraikalum, kirupaasana sthaanam irukkavaenntiya maathiriyaiyum, Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlors thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,

12 Aaviyinaal thanakkuk kattalaiyidappattapatiyellaam avan seyyavaenntiya karththarutaiya aalayappiraakaarangalum, thaevanutaiya aalayaththup pokkishangalaiyum, Parisuththamaaka naernthukollappattavaikalin pokkishangalaiyum vaikkum sakala suttaraikalum irukkavaenntiya maathiriyaiyum, And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:

13 Aasaariyaraiyum laeviyaraiyum varisaikalaaka vakukkiratharkum, karththarutaiya aalayappannivitai vaelai anaiththirkum, karththarutaiya aalayaththu vaelaiyin pannimuttukal anaiththirkumuriya kattalaiyaiyum koduththaan. Also for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD.

14 Avan parpala vaelaikku vaenntiya sakala porpaaththirangalukkaaka niraiyinpati ponnaiyum, parpala vaelaikkuvaenntiya sakala vellippaaththirangalukkaaka, niraiyinpati velliyaiyum, He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all instruments of all manner of service; silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every kind of service:

15 Pon vilakkuththanndukalukkum avaikalin pon vilakkukalukkum, ovvoru vilakkuththanndukkum athin vilakkukalukkum niraiyinpati vaenntiya ponnaiyum, velli vilakkuththanndukalil ovvoru vilakkuththanndukkum athin vilakkukalukkum niraiyinpati vaenntiya velliyaiyum, Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick.

16 Samukaththappangalai vaikkum ovvoru maejaikkum niraiyinpati vaenntiya ponnaiyum, velli maeைaikalukku vaenntiya velliyaiyum, And by weight he gave gold for the tables of shewbread, for every table; and likewise silver for the tables of silver:

17 Mulkuradukalukkum kalangalukkum thattukalukkum vaenntiya pasumponnaiyum, pon kinnnnikalil ovvoru kinnnnikkum niraiyinpati vaenntiyathaiyum, vellikkinnnnikalil ovvoru kinnnnikkum niraiyinpati vaenntiyathaiyum, Also pure gold for the fleshhooks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for the golden basins he gave gold by weight for every basin; and likewise silver by weight for every basin of silver:

18 Thoopangaattum peedaththirku niraiyinpati vaenntiya pudamidappatta ponnaiyum koduththu, settaைkalai viriththuk karththarutaiya udanpatikkaippettiyai moodum pon kaerupeenkalaana vaakanaththin maathiriyaiyum koduththu, And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubim, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

19 Intha maathiriyinpati sakala vaelaikalum enakkuth theriyappaduththa, ivaiyellaam karththarutaiya karaththinaal enakku eluthikkodukkappattathu entan. All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.

20 David than kumaaranaakiya saalomonai Nnokki: nee palangaொnndu thairiyamaayirunthu, ithai nadappi; nee payappadaamalum kalangaamalum iru; thaevanaakiya Karththar ennum en Dhevan unnotae iruppaar; karththarutaiya aalayaththaik kattukiratharkaduththa sakala kiriyaikalaiyum nee mutiththuth theerumattum, avar unnaivittu vilakavumaattar, unnaik kaividavumaattar. And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

21 Itho, thaevanutaiya aalayaththuvaelaikkellaam aasaariyar avarutaiya vakuppukal irukkirathu; antha ellaak kiriyaikkum sakalavitha vaelaiyilum nipunaraana manappoorvamulla sakala manusharum, un sorpatiyellaam kaetkum pirapukkalum, sakala janangalum ennidaththil irukkiraarkal entan. And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skillful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment.
