சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் புசித்துத்திருப்தியடைவார்கள்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் அவரைத் துதிப்பார்கள்; உங்கள் இருதயம் என்றென்றைக்கும் வாழும்.
The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களை நியாயத்திலே நடத்தி, சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களுக்குத் தமது வழியைப் போதிக்கிறார்.
The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்து மிகுந்த சமாதானத்தினால் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பார்கள்.
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
கர்த்தர் சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களை உயர்த்துகிறார்; துன்மார்க்கரைத் தரைமட்டும் தாழ்த்துகிறார்.
The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தின்மேல் பிரியம் வைக்கிறார்; சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களை இரட்சிப்பினால் அலங்கரிப்பார்.
For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
நீடிய சாந்தமுள்ளவன் மகாபுத்திமான்; முற்கோபியோ புத்தியீனத்தை விளங்கப்பண்ணுகிறான்.
He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
மெதுவான பிரதியுத்தரம் உக்கிரத்தை மாற்றும்; கடுஞ்சொற்களோ கோபத்தை எழுப்பும்.
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
கோபக்காரன் சண்டையை எழுப்புகிறான்; நீடிய சாந்தமுள்ளவனோ சண்டையை அமர்த்துகிறான்.
A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
பலவானைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீடிய சாந்தமுள்ளவன் உத்தமன்; பட்டணத்தைப் பிடிக்கிறவனைப்பார்க்கிலும் தன் மனதை அடக்குகிறவன் உத்தமன்.
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
மனுஷனுடைய விவேகம் அவன் கோபத்தை அடக்கும்; குற்றத்தை மன்னிப்பது அவனுக்கு மகிமை.
The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
வழக்குக்கு விலகுவது மனுஷனுக்கு மேன்மை; மூடனானவன் எவனும் அதிலே தலையிட்டுக்கொள்வான்.
It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
நீதியின்படி ஏழைகளை நியாயம் விசாரித்து, யதார்த்தத்தின்படி பூமியிலுள்ள சிறுமையானவர்களுக்குத் தீர்ப்புச்செய்து, பூமியைத் தமது வாக்கின் கோலால் அடித்து, தமது வாயின் சுவாசத்தால் துன்மார்க்கரைச் சங்கரிப்பார்.
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
சிறுமையானவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்குள் மிகவும் மகிழ்ந்து, மனுஷரில் எளிமையானவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தருக்குள் களிகூருவார்கள்.
The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
தேசத்திலுள்ள எல்லாச் சிறுமையானவர்களே, கர்த்தருடைய நியாயத்தை நடப்பிக்கிறவர்களே, அவரைத் தேடுங்கள்; நீதியைத் தேடுங்கள், மனத்தாழ்மையைத் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது ஒருவேளை கர்த்தருடைய கோபத்தின்நாளிலே மறைக்கப்படுவீர்கள்.
Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger.
சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
மயிரைப் பின்னி, பொன்னாபரணங்களை அணிந்து, உயர்ந்த வஸ்திரங்களை உடுத்திக்கொள்ளுதலாகிய புறம்பான அலங்கரிப்பு உங்களுக்கு அலங்காரமாயிராமல்,
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
அழியாத அலங்கரிப்பாயிருக்கிற சாந்தமும் அமைதலுமுள்ள ஆவியாகிய இருதயத்தில் மறைந்திருக்கிற குணமே உங்களுக்கு அலங்காரமாயிருக்கக்கடவது; அதுவே தேவனுடைய பார்வையில் விலையேறப்பெற்றது.
But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
