நீ அவர் வாக்கை நன்றாய்க் கேட்டு, நான் சொல்வதையெல்லாம் செய்வாயாகில், நான் உன் சத்துருக்களுக்குச் சத்துருவாயும், உன் விரோதிகளுக்கு விரோதியாயும் இருப்பேன்.
But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
உங்களில் எவன் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, அவருடைய தாசனின் சொல்லைக் கேட்டு தனக்கு வெளிச்சமில்லாததினால் இருட்டிலே நடக்கிறானோ, அவன் கர்த்தருடய நாமத்தை நம்பி, தன் தேவனைச் சார்ந்துகொள்ளக்கடவன்.
Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
ஆகையால், நான் சொல்லிய இந்த வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டு, இவைகளின்படி செய்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவனைக் கன்மலையின்மேல் தன் வீட்டைக் கட்டின புத்தியுள்ள மனுஷனுக்கு ஒப்பிடுவேன்.
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
பெருமழை சொரிந்து, பெருவெள்ளம் வந்து, காற்று அடித்து, அந்த வீட்டின்மேல் மோதியும் அது விழவில்லை; ஏனென்றால் அது கன்மலையின்மேல் அஸ்திபாரம் போடப்பட்டிருந்தது.
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
என் வசனத்தைக் கேட்டு, என்னை அனுப்பினவரை விசுவாசிக்கிறவனுக்கு நித்தியஜீவன் உண்டு; அவன் ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்புக்குட்படாமல், மரணத்தைவிட்டு நீங்கி, ஜீவனுக்குட்பட்டிருக்கிறான் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
ஒருவன் என் வார்த்தையைக் கைக்கொண்டால், அவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் மரணத்தைக் காண்பதில்லை என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
நான் என் பிதாவின் கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு அவருடைய அன்பிலே நிலைத்திருக்கிறதுபோல, நீங்களும் என் கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டிருந்தால், என்னுடைய அன்பிலே நிலைத்திருப்பீர்கள்.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
தாம் பூரணரானபின்பு, தமக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிற யாவரும் நித்திய இரட்சிப்பை அடைவதற்குக் காரணராகி,
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
