இன்று நான் உங்களுக்கு விதிக்கிற வார்த்தைகள் யாவையும் விட்டு விலகி வேறே தேவர்களைச் சேவிக்கும்படி, நீ வலதுபுறம் இடதுபுறம் சாயாமல்,
And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது: உன் வீட்டாரும் உன் பிதாவின் வீட்டாரும் என்றைக்கும் என் சந்நிதியில் நடந்து கொள்வார்கள் என்று நான் நிச்சயமாய்ச் சொல்லியிருந்தும், இனி அது எனக்குத் தூரமாயிருப்பதாக; என்னைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறவர்களை நான் கனம் பண்ணுவேன்; என்னை அசட்டை பண்ணுகிறவர்கள் கனஈனப்படுவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honor me I will honor, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
அவன் என்னிடத்தில் வாஞ்சையாயிருக்கிறபடியால் அவனை விடுவிப்பேன்; என் நாமத்தை அவன் அறிந்திருக்கிறபடியால் அவனை உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வைப்பேன்.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
அவன் என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவான், நான் அவனுக்கு மறுஉத்தரவு அருளிச்செய்வேன்; ஆபத்தில் நானே அவனோடிருந்து, அவனைத் தப்புவித்து, அவனைக் கனப்படுத்துவேன்.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
அவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் அசைக்கப்படாதிருப்பான்; நீதிமான் நித்திய கீர்த்தியுள்ளவன்.
Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
வாரியிறைத்தான் ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுத்தான், அவனுடைய நீதி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்; அவன் கொம்பு மகிமையாய் உயர்த்தப்படும்.
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
அதின் வலது கையில் தீர்க்காயுசும், அதின் இடதுகையில் செல்வமும் கனமும் இருக்கிறது.
Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
நீ அதை மேன்மைப்படுத்து, அது உன்னை மேன்மைப்படுத்தும்; நீ அதைத் தழுவிக்கொண்டால், அது உன்னைக் கனம்பண்ணும்.
Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
நீதிமானுடைய பேர் புகழ்பெற்று விளங்கும்; துன்மார்க்கனுடைய பேரோ அழிந்துபோகும்.
The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.
தாழ்மைக்கும் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலுக்கும் வரும் பலன் ஐசுவரியமும் மகிமையும் ஜீவனுமாம்.
By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.
ஒருவன் எனக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்கிறவனானால் என்னைப் பின்பற்றக்கடவன், நான் எங்கே இருக்கிறேனோ அங்கே என் ஊழியக்காரனும் இருப்பான்; ஒருவன் எனக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்தால் அவனைப் பிதாவானவர் கனம்பண்ணுவார்.
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
இதோ, யூதரல்லாதிருந்தும் தங்களை யூதரென்று பொய் சொல்லுகிறவர்களாகிய சாத்தானுடைய கூட்டத்தாரில் சிலரை உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன்; இதோ, அவர்கள் உன் பாதங்களுக்கு முன்பாக வந்து பணிந்து, நான் உன்மேல் அன்பாயிருக்கிறதை அறிந்துகொள்ளும்படி செய்வேன்.
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
