யோவான் 9:24
ஆதலால் அவர்கள் குருடனாயிருந்த மனுஷனை இரண்டாந்தரம் அழைத்து: நீ தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்து; இந்த மனுஷன் பாவியென்று நாங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம் என்றார்கள்.

முன்பு குருடனாயிருந்த அந்த மனிதனை மீண்டும் அழைத்தார்கள். யூதத் தலைவர்கள் அவனிடம், “நீ உண்மையைச் சொல்லி தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்து. இந்த மனிதன் ஒரு பாவி என்று நாங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்” என்றனர்.

பார்வையற்றிருந்தவரை யூதர்கள் இரண்டாம் முறையாகக் கூப்பிட்டு அவரிடம், “உண்மையைச் சொல்லிக் கடவுளை மாட்சிப்படுத்து.* இம்மனிதன் ஒரு பாவி என்பது எங்களுக்குத் தெரியும்” என்றனர்.

Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
