யோவான் 6:22
மறுநாளில் கடலின் அக்கரையிலே நின்ற ஜனங்கள் அவருடைய சீஷர் ஏறின அந்த ஒரே படவுதவிர அங்கே வேறொரு படவும் இருந்ததில்லையென்றும், இயேசு தம்முடைய சீஷருடனேகூடப் படவில் ஏறாமல் அவருடைய சீஷர் மாத்திரம் போனார்களென்றும் அறிந்தார்கள்.

மறுநாளில் கடலின் அக்கரையிலே நின்ற மக்கள் அவருடைய சீடர்கள் ஏறின அந்த ஒரே படகைத்தவிர அங்கே வேறொரு படகும் இருந்ததில்லை என்றும், இயேசு தம்முடைய சீடர்களோடுகூடப் படகில் ஏறாமல் அவருடைய சீடர்கள்மட்டும் போனார்கள் என்றும் அறிந்தார்கள்.

மறுநாள் வந்தது. கடலின் அக்கரையில் சில மக்கள் தங்கியிருந்தனர். இயேசு தன் சீஷர்களோடு படகில் செல்லவில்லை என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிந்திருந்தனர். இயேசுவின் சீஷர்கள் இயேசு இல்லாமல் தனியாகச் சென்றதை அவர்கள் தெரிந்திருந்தனர். அங்கிருந்து செல்ல அந்த ஒரு படகு மட்டும்தான் உண்டு என்பதையும் அவர்கள் தெரிந்துகொண்டனர்.

சீடர்கள் புறப்பட்ட கரையிலேயே மறு நாளும் மக்கள் கூட்டமாய் நின்று கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். முந்தின நாள் ஒரு படகைத்தவிர வேறு படகு எதுவும் அங்கு இல்லை என்பதையும் அதில் இயேசுவின் சீடர்கள் மட்டும் போனார்களே அன்றி இயேசு அவர்களோடு அப்படகில் ஏறவில்லை என்பதையும் அவர்கள் கண்கூடாகப் பார்த்திருந்தார்கள்.
