யோவான் 5:17
இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: என் பிதா இதுவரைக்கும் கிரியைசெய்துவருகிறார். நானும் கிரியைசெய்துவருகிறேன் என்றார்.

இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: என் பிதா இதுவரைக்கும் செயல்களைச் செய்துவருகிறார், நானும் செயல்களைச் செய்துவருகிறேன் என்றார்.

ஆனால் இயேசுவோ யூதர்களிடம், “எனது பிதா (தேவன்) வேலை செய்வதை நிறுத்துவதே இல்லை. நானும் வேலை செய்துகொண்டிருக்கிறேன்” என்றார்.
