பாருங்கள், குதிரைகள் நமக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்படிக்கு அவைகளின் வாய்களில் கடிவாளம்போட்டு, அவைகளுடைய முழுச்சரீரத்தையும் திருப்பி நடத்துகிறோம்.

நாம் குதிரைகளை அடக்கவேண்டுமானால் அவற்றின் வாயிலே கடிவாளத்தைப் போடுகிறோம். அதன் மூலம் அதன் முழு சரீரத்தையும் கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்குள் கொண்டுவருகிறோம்.

குதிரைகளை அடக்க அவற்றின் வாயில் கடிவாளத்தைப் போடுகிறோம். இவ்வாறு குதிரைகளை முழுவதுமாகக் கட்டுப்படுத்துகிறோம்.

சங்கீதம் 32:9
வாரினாலும் கடிவாளத்தினாலும் வாய் கட்டப்பட்டாலொழிய, உன் கிட்டச் சேராத புத்தியில்லாக் குதிரையைப்போலவும் கோவேறு கழுதையைப்போலவும் இருக்கவேண்டாம்.

சங்கீதம் 39:1
என் நாவினால் பாவஞ்செய்யாதபடிக்கு நான் என் வழிகளைக் காத்து, துன்மார்க்கன் எனக்கு முன்பாக இருக்குமட்டும் என் வாயைக் கடிவாளத்தால் அடக்கிவைப்பேன் என்றேன்.

உங்களில் ஒருவன் தன் நாவை அடக்காமல், தன் இருதயத்தை வஞ்சித்து, தன்னை தேவபக்தியுள்ளவனென்று எண்ணினால் அவனுடைய தேவபக்தி வீணாயிருக்கும்.
