அரண்களின் தேவனைத் தன் ஸ்தானத்திலே கனம்பண்ணி தன் பிதாக்கள் அறியாத ஒரு தேவனைப் பொன்னினாலும் வெள்ளியினாலும், இரத்தினங்களினாலும், உச்சிதமான வஸ்துக்களினாலும் கனம்பண்ணுவான்.

பாதுகாப்புகளின் தேவனைத் தன் இடத்திலே கனப்படுத்தி, தன் முற்பிதாக்கள் அறியாத ஒரு தேவனைப் பொன்னினாலும், வெள்ளியினாலும், இரத்தினங்களினாலும், விலையுயர்ந்த பொருட்களினாலும் கனப்படுத்துவான்.

வடபகுதி அரசன் எந்தத் தேவனையும் தொழுதுகொள்ளமாட்டான். ஆனால் அவன் அதிகாரத்தைத் தொழுதுகொள்வான். அதிகாரமும் வல்லமையுமே அவனது தெய்வங்கள். அவன் பிதாக்கள் தன்னைப் போல் வல்லமையை நேசிக்கவில்லை. அவன் அதிகாரமாகிய தேவனை பொன்னாலும், வெள்ளியாலும் விலைமதிப்புள்ள நகைகளாலும், அன்பளிப்புகளாலும், பெருமைப்படுத்துவான்.

அவற்றிற்குப் பதிலாக, அரண்களின் தெய்வத்தை மட்டும் வணங்குவான். தன் தந்தையர் அறிந்திராத அந்தத் தெய்வத்தை அவன் பொன்னாலும் வெள்ளியாலும் மாணிக்கக் கல்லாலும் விலையுயர்ந்த பொருள்களாலும் பெருமைப்படுத்தி வழிபடுவான்.
