சாலொமோன் உண்டாக்கின வெண்கலப்பலிபீடம் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையும் போஜன பலிகளையும் நிணத்தையும் கொள்ளமாட்டாதிருந்தபடியினால், கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்கு முன்னிருக்கிற பிராகாரத்தின் நடுமையத்தைச் சாலொமோன் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தி, அங்கே சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையும் சமாதானபலிகளின் நிணத்தையும் செலுத்தினான்.

சாலொமோன் பிரகாரத்தின் நடுப்பகுதியை பரிசுத்தமாக்கினான். அது கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்கு முன்பாக இருந்தது. அந்த இடத்தில்தான் சாலொமோன் தகன பலிகளையும், சமாதான பலியின் கொழுப்பையும் கொடுத்தான். வெண்கல பலிபீடமானது எல்லா தகனபலிகளையும் தானியக் காணிக்கைகளையும், நிணத்தையும் தாங்காது என்பதாலேயே சாலொமோன் இந்த நடுப்பகுதியைப் பயன்படுத்தினான்.

அக்கினிக்குள் அகப்பட்ட தூபகலசங்களை எடுத்து, அவைகளிலிருக்கிற அக்கினியை அப்பாலே கொட்டிப்போடும்படி ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனின் குமாரன் எலெயாசாருக்குச் சொல்; அந்தத் தூபகலசங்கள் பரிசுத்தமாயின.
