யெரொபெயாம் தூபங்காட்ட பலிபீடத்தண்டையிலே நிற்கையில், இதோ, தேவனுடைய மனுஷன் ஒருவன் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே, யூதாவிலிருந்து பெத்தேலுக்கு வந்து,

கர்த்தர், யூதாவிலுள்ள தேவமனிதனைப் பெத்தேலுக்கு போகும்படி கட்டளையிட்டார். அவன் அங்கே போனபோது யெரொபெயாம் பலிபீடத்தின் முன்னால் நறுமண வாசனைப் பொருட்களைச் செலுத்திக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.

the altar הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ mizbēaḥ meez-BAY-ak
