Καὶ And kai ἤκουσα I heard akouō φωνῆς voice phōnē μεγάλης a great megas ἐκ out of ek τοῦ the ho ναοῦ temple naos λεγούσης saying legō τοῖς the ho ἑπτὰ to seven hepta ἀγγέλοις angels, angelos Ὑπάγετε Go your ways, hypagō καὶ and kai ἐκχέατε pour out ekcheō τὰς the ho φιάλας vials phialē τοῦ the ho θυμοῦ of wrath thymos τοῦ ho θεοῦ of God theos εἰς upon eis τὴν the ho γῆν earth. gē

Καὶ And kai ἀπῆλθεν went, aperchomai ὁ the ho πρῶτος first prōtos καὶ and kai ἐξέχεεν poured out ekcheō τὴν ho φιάλην vial phialē αὐτοῦ his autos ἐπὶ upon epi τὴν the ho γῆν earth; gē καὶ and kai ἐγένετο there fell ginomai ἕλκος sore helkos κακὸν a noisome kakos καὶ and kai πονηρὸν grievous ponēros εἰς upon eis τοὺς the ho ἀνθρώπους men anthrōpos τοὺς which ho ἔχοντας had echō τὸ the ho χάραγμα mark charagma τοῦ the ho θηρίου of beast, thērion καὶ and kai τοὺς them ho τῇ ho εἰκόνι image. eikōn αὐτοῦ his autos προσκυνοῦντας which worshipped proskyneō

Καὶ And kai ὁ the ho δεύτερος second deuteros ἄγγελος angel angelos ἐξέχεεν poured out ekcheō τὴν ho φιάλην vial phialē αὐτοῦ his autos εἰς upon eis τὴν the ho θάλασσαν sea; thalassa καὶ and kai ἐγένετο it became ginomai αἷμα the blood haima ὡς as hōs νεκροῦ of a dead nekros καὶ and kai πᾶσα every pas ψυχὴ soul psychē ζῶσα living zaō ἀπέθανεν died apothnēskō ἐν in en τῇ the ho θαλάσσῃ sea. thalassa

Καὶ And kai ὁ the ho τρίτος third tritos ἄγγελος angel angelos ἐξέχεεν poured out ekcheō τὴν ho φιάλην vial phialē αὐτοῦ his autos εἰς upon eis τοὺς the ho ποταμοὺς rivers potamos καὶ and kai εἰς eis τὰς ho πηγὰς fountains pēgē τῶν ho ὑδάτων of waters; hydōr καὶ and kai ἐγένετο they became ginomai αἷμα blood. haima

καὶ And kai ἤκουσα I heard akouō τοῦ the ho ἀγγέλου angel angelos τῶν the ho ὑδάτων of waters hydōr λέγοντος say, legō Δίκαιος righteous, dikaios Κύριε, O Lord, kyrios εἶ Thou art ei ὁ which ho ὢν art, ōn καὶ and kai ὁ ho ἦν wast, ēn καὶ and kai ὁ ho ὅσιος shalt be, hosios ὅτι because hoti ταῦτα thus. tauta ἔκρινας thou hast judged krinō

ὅτι For hoti αἷμα the blood haima ἁγίων of saints hagios καὶ and kai προφητῶν prophets, prophētēs ἐξέχεαν they have shed ekcheō καὶ and kai αἷμα blood haima αὐτοῖς them autos έδωκας thou hast given didōmi πιεῖν to drink; pinō ἄξιοί worthy. axios γάρ for gar εἰσιν they are eisi

Καὶ And kai ὁ the ho τέταρτος fourth tetartos ἄγγελος angel angelos ἐξέχεεν poured out ekcheō τὴν ho φιάλην vial phialē αὐτοῦ his autos ἐπὶ upon epi τὸν ho ἥλιον sun; hēlios καὶ and kai ἐδόθη was given didōmi αὐτῷ unto him autos καυματίσαι power to scorch kaumatizō τοὺς the ho ἀνθρώπους men anthrōpos ἐν with en πυρί fire. pyr

καὶ And kai ἐκαυματίσθησαν were scorched kaumatizō οἱ ho ἄνθρωποι men anthrōpos καῦμα heat, kauma μέγα with great megas καὶ and kai ἐβλασφήμησαν blasphemed blasphēmeō τὸ the ho ὄνομα name onoma τοῦ ho θεοῦ of God, theos τοῦ which ho ἔχοντος hath echō ἐξουσίαν power exousia ἐπὶ over epi τὰς ho πληγὰς plagues: plēgē ταύτας these houtos καὶ and kai οὐ not ou μετενόησαν they repented metanoeō δοῦναι to give didōmi αὐτῷ him autos δόξαν glory. doxa

Καὶ And kai ὁ the ho πέμπτος fifth pemptos ἄγγελος angel angelos ἐξέχεεν poured out ekcheō τὴν ho φιάλην vial phialē αὐτοῦ his autos ἐπὶ upon epi τὸν the ho θρόνον seat thronos τοῦ the ho θηρίου of beast; thērion καὶ and kai ἐγένετο was ginomai ἡ ho βασιλεία kingdom basileia αὐτοῦ his autos ἐσκοτωμένη full of darkness; skotoō καὶ and kai ἐμασσῶντο they gnawed massaomai τὰς ho γλώσσας tongues glōssa αὐτῶν their autos ἐκ for ek τοῦ ho πόνου pain, ponos

καὶ And kai ἐβλασφήμησαν blasphemed blasphēmeō τὸν the ho θεὸν God theos τοῦ ho οὐρανοῦ of heaven ouranos ἐκ because ek τῶν ho πόνων pains ponos αὐτῶν their autos καὶ and kai ἐκ of ek τῶν ho ἑλκῶν sores, helkos αὐτῶν their autos καὶ and kai οὐ not ou μετενόησαν repented metanoeō ἐκ of ek τῶν ho ἔργων deeds. ergon αὐτῶν their autos

Καὶ And kai εἶδον I saw eidō ἐκ out of ek τοῦ the ho στόματος mouth stoma τοῦ the ho δράκοντος of dragon, drakōn καὶ and kai ἐκ out of ek τοῦ the ho στόματος mouth stoma τοῦ the ho θηρίου of beast, thērion καὶ and kai ἐκ out of ek τοῦ the ho στόματος mouth stoma τοῦ the ho ψευδοπροφήτου of false prophet. pseudoprophētēs πνεύματα spirits pneuma τρία three treis ἀκάθαρτα unclean akathartos ὁμοία like homoios βατράχοις frogs batrachos

εἰσὶν they are eisi γὰρ For gar πνεύματα the spirits pneuma δαιμόνων of devils, daimōn ποιοῦντα working poieō σημεῖα miracles, sēmeion ἐκπορεύεσθαι go forth ekporeuomai ἐπὶ unto epi τοὺς the ho βασιλεῖς kings basileus τῆς the ho γῆς of earth gē καὶ and kai τῆς the ho οἰκουμένης of world, oikoumenē ὅλης whole holos συναγαγεῖν gather synagō αὐτοὺς to them autos εἰς to eis τὸν the ho πόλεμον battle polemos τῆς ho ἡμέρας day hēmera ἐκείνης of that ekeinos τῆς ho μεγάλης great megas τοῦ ho θεοῦ of God theos τοῦ ho παντοκράτορος Almighty. pantokratōr

Ἰδού, Behold, idou ἔρχομαι I come erchomai ὡς as hōs κλέπτης a thief. kleptēs μακάριος Blessed makarios ὁ he ho γρηγορῶν that watcheth, grēgoreuō καὶ and kai τηρῶν keepeth tēreō τὰ ho ἱμάτια garments, himation αὐτοῦ his autos ἵνα lest hina μὴ mē γυμνὸς naked, gymnos περιπατῇ he walk peripateō καὶ and kai βλέπωσιν they see blepō τὴν ho ἀσχημοσύνην shame. aschēmosynē αὐτοῦ his autos

Καὶ And kai ὁ the ho ἕβδομος seventh hebdomos ἄγγελος angel angelos ἐξέχεεν poured out ekcheō τὴν ho φιάλην vial phialē αὐτοῦ his autos εἰς into eis τὸν the ho ἀέρα air; aēr καὶ and kai ἐξῆλθεν there came exerchomai φωνὴ voice phōnē μεγάλη a great megas ἀπὸ out apo τοῦ the ho ναοῦ of temple naos τοῦ ho οὐρανοῦ, of heaven, ouranos ἀπὸ from apo τοῦ the ho θρόνου throne, thronos λέγουσα saying, legō Γέγονεν It is done. ginomai

καὶ And kai ἐγένοντο there were ginomai φωναὶ voices, phōnē καὶ and kai βρονταί thunders, brontē καὶ and kai ἀστραπαὶ lightnings; astrapē καὶ and kai σεισμὸς earthquake, seismos ἐγένετο there was ginomai μέγας a great megas οἷος such as hoios οὐκ not ou ἐγένετο was ginomai ἀφ' since apo οὗ hos οἱ ho ἄνθρωποι men anthrōpos ἐγένοντο were ginomai ἐπὶ upon epi τῆς the ho γῆς earth, gē τηλικοῦτος so mighty tēlikoutos σεισμὸς an earthquake, seismos οὕτως so houtō μέγας great. megas

καὶ And kai ἐγένετο divided ginomai ἡ ho πόλις city was polis ἡ the ho μεγάλη great megas εἰς into eis τρία three treis μέρη parts, meros καὶ and kai αἱ the ho πόλεις cities polis τῶν the ho ἐθνῶν of nations ethnos ἔπεσον· fell: piptō καὶ and kai Βαβυλὼν Babylon babylōn ἡ ho μεγάλη great megas ἐμνήσθη came in remembrance mnaomai ἐνώπιον before enōpion τοῦ ho θεοῦ God, theos δοῦναι to give didōmi αὐτῇ unto her autos τὸ the ho ποτήριον cup potērion τοῦ the ho οἴνου of wine oinos τοῦ the ho θυμοῦ of fierceness thymos τῆς ho ὀργῆς wrath. orgē αὐτοῦ of his autos

καὶ And kai πᾶσα every pas νῆσος island nēsos ἔφυγεν fled away, pheugō καὶ and kai ὄρη the mountains oros οὐχ not ou εὑρέθησαν were found. heuriskō

καὶ And kai χάλαζα hail chalaza μεγάλη a great megas ὡς about hōs ταλαντιαία the weight of a talent: talantiaios καταβαίνει there fell katabainō ἐκ out of ek τοῦ ho οὐρανοῦ heaven, ouranos ἐπὶ upon epi τοὺς ho ἀνθρώπους men anthrōpos καὶ and kai ἐβλασφήμησαν blasphemed blasphēmeō οἱ ho ἄνθρωποι men anthrōpos τὸν ho θεὸν God theos ἐκ because of ek τῆς the ho πληγῆς plague plēgē τῆς the ho χαλάζης of hail; chalaza ὅτι for hoti μεγάλη great. megas ἐστὶν was esti ἡ the ho πληγὴ plague plēgē αὐτῆς thereof autos σφόδρα exceeding sphodra
