“ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਵੱਲ ਆ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਜੇ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਪਰਦੂਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਵਰਗਾ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ!” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀ।
