2ஆரோனுடைய குமாரர், முதல் பிறந்தவனாகிய நாதாப், அபியூ, எலெயாசார், இத்தாமார் என்பவர்களே.And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

5கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
6நீ லேவிகோத்திரத்தாரைச் சேர்த்து, அவர்கள் ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனுக்குப் பணிவிடைசெய்யும்படி அவர்களை நிறுத்து.Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.

17லேவியின் குமாரர் தங்கள் நாமங்களின்படியே, கெர்சோன், கோகாத், மெராரி என்பவர்கள்.And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
18தங்கள் வம்சத்தின்படியே கெர்சோனுடைய குமாரரின் நாமங்கள், லிப்னி, சீமேயி என்பவைகள்.And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.
19தங்கள் வம்சங்களின்படியே கோகாத்துடைய குமாரர், அம்ராம், இத்சேயார், எப்ரோன், ஊசியேல் என்பவர்கள்.And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
20தங்கள் வம்சங்களின்படியே மெராரியினுடைய குமாரர், மகேலி, மூசி என்பவர்கள்; இவர்களே லேவியருடைய பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்தார்.And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.

26வாசஸ்தலத்தண்டையிலும் பலிபீடத்தண்டையிலும் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற பிராகாரத்தின் தொங்குதிரைகளும், பிராகாரவாசல் மூடுதிரையும், அவைகளின் வேலைகளுக்கெல்லாம் உரிய அவைகளின் கயிறுகளுமே.And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.
27கோகாத்தின் வழியாய் அம்ராமியரின் வம்சமும் இத்சேயாரின் வம்சமும் எப்ரோனியரின் வம்சமும் ஊசியேலரின் வம்சமும் தோன்றின; இவைகளே கோகாத்தியரின் வம்சங்கள்.And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.

45நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலுள்ள முதற்பேறான யாவருக்கும் பதிலாக லேவியரையும், அவர்களுடைய மிருகஜீவன்களுக்குப்பதிலாக லேவியரின் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் பிரித்தெடு; லேவியர் என்னுடையவர்களாயிருப்பார்கள்; நான் கர்த்தர்.Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.

11Pinnum Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki:And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
12Israel puththiraril karppanthiranthu pirakkira mutharpaeraana yaavukkum pathilaaka, naan laeviyarai Israel puththirarilirunthu eduththukkonntaen; avarkal ennutaiyavarkalaayirukkiraarkal.And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;

16Appoluthu karththarutaiya vaakkinpati, Moses thanakkuk karpikkappatta pirakaaram avarkalai ennnninaan.And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.
17Laeviyin kumaarar thangal naamangalinpatiyae, kerson, kokaath, meraari enpavarkal.And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
18Thangal vamsaththinpatiyae kersonutaiya kumaararin naamangal, lipni, seemaeyi enpavaikal.And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.
19Thangal vamsangalinpatiyae kokaaththutaiya kumaarar, amraam, ithseyaar, epron, oosiyael enpavarkal.And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

48Laeviyarutaiya thokaikku athikamaanavarkal meetkappadum thiraviyaththai aaronukkum avan kumaararukkum koduppaayaaka entar.And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.
49Appatiyae laeviyaraal meetkappattavarkalin thokaikku athikamaayirunthu, innum meetkappadavaenntiyavarkalukku eedaaka Moses Israel puththirarutaiya mutharpaeraanavarkalidaththil,And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:
50Aayiraththu munnoottaு araுpaththainthu sekkalaakiya thiraviyaththai, Parisuththa sthalaththuch sekkal kanakkinpati vaangi,Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
51Karththarutaiya vaakkinpatiyae meetkappattavarkalin kirayaththai aaronukkum avan kumaararukkum, Karththar thanakkuk kattalaiyittapatiyae koduththaan.And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
