Numbers 14:1-25 in Tamil in Tamil

1 அப்பொழுது சபையார் எல்லாரும் கூக்குரலிட்டுப் புலம்பினார்கள்; ஜனங்கள் அன்று இராமுழுதும் அழுதுகொண்டிருந்தார்கள். And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.

2 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எல்லாரும் மோசேக்கும் ஆரோனுக்கும் விரோதமாக முறுமுறுத்தார்கள். சபையார் எல்லாரும் அவர்களை நோக்கி: எகிப்துதேசத்திலே செத்துப்போனோமானால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; இந்த வனாந்தரத்திலே நாங்கள் செத்தாலும் நலம். And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!

3 நாங்கள் பட்டயத்தால் மடியும்படிக்கும், எங்கள் பெண்ஜாதிகளும் பிள்ளைகளையும் கொள்ளையாகும்படிக்கும், கர்த்தர் எங்களை இந்த தேசத்துக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தது என்ன? எகிப்துக்குத் திரும்பிப்போகிறதே எங்களுக்கு உத்தமம் அல்லவோ என்றார்கள். And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

4 பின்பு அவர்கள்: நாம் ஒரு தலைவனை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொண்டு எகிப்துக்குத் திரும்பிப்போவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று ஒருவரோடொருவர் சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள். And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

5 அப்பொழுது மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சபையாராகிய எல்லாக் கூட்டத்தாருக்கு முன்பாகவும் முகங்குப்புற விழுந்தார்கள். Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

6 தேசத்தைச் சுற்றிப்பார்த்தவர்களில் நூனின் குமாரனாகிய யோசுவாவும், எப்புன்னேயின் குமாரனாகிய காலேபும், தங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டு, And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:

7 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சமஸ்த சபையையும் நோக்கி: நாங்கள் போய்ச் சுற்றிப்பார்த்து சோதித்த தேசம் மகா நல்லதேசம். And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.

8 கர்த்தர் நம்மேல் பிரியமாயிருந்தால், அந்தத் தேசத்திலே நம்மைக் கொண்டுபோய், பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிற அந்தத் தேசத்தை நமக்குக் கொடுப்பார். If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.

9 கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாகமாத்திரம் கலகம்பபண்ணாதிருங்கள்; அந்த தேசத்தின் ஜனங்களுக்கு நீங்கள் பயப்படவேண்டியதில்லை; அவர்கள் நமக்கு இரையாவார்கள்; அவர்களைக் காத்த நிழல் அவர்களை விட்டு விலகிப்போயிற்று; கர்த்தர் நம்மோடே இருக்கிறார்; அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டியதில்லை என்றார்கள். Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defense is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.

10 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள்மேல் கல்லெறியவேண்டும் என்று சபையார் எல்லாரும் சொன்னார்கள்; உடனே கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எல்லாருக்கும் முன்பாகக் காணப்பட்டது. But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.

11 கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: எதுவரைக்கும் இந்த ஜனங்கள் எனக்குக் கோபம் உண்டாக்குவார்கள்? தங்களுக்குள்ளே நான் காட்டின சகல அடையாளங்களையும் அவர்கள் கண்டும், எதுவரைக்கும் என்னை விசுவாசியாதிருப்பார்கள்? And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have showed among them?

12 நான் அவர்களைக் கொள்ளை நோயினால் வாதித்து, சுதந்தரத்துக்குப் புறம்பாக்கிப்போட்டு, அவர்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் உன்னைப் பெரிதும் பலத்ததுமான ஜாதியாக்குவேன் என்றார். I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.

13 மோசே கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: எகிப்தியர் இதைக் கேட்பார்கள்; அவர்கள் நடுவிலிருந்து உம்முடைய வல்லமையினாலே இந்த ஜனங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்தீரே. And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)

14 கர்த்தராகிய நீர் இந்த ஜனங்களின் நடுவே இருக்கிறதையும், கர்த்தராகிய நீர் முகமுகமாய்த் தரிசனமாகிறதையும், உம்முடைய மேகம் இவர்கள்மேல் நிற்கிறதையும், பகலில் மேகத்தூணிலும், இரவில் அக்கினித்தூணிலும், நீர் இவர்களுக்கு முன் செல்லுகிறதையும் கேட்டிருக்கிறார்கள், இந்த தேசத்தின் குடிகளுக்கும் சொல்லுவார்கள். And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou LORD art among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

15 ஒரே மனிதனைக் கொல்லுகிறதுபோல இந்த ஜனங்களையெல்லாம் நீர் கொல்வீரானால், அப்பொழுது உம்முடைய கீர்த்தியைக் கேட்டிருக்கும் புறஜாதியார்: Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,

16 கர்த்தர் அந்த ஜனங்களுக்குக் கொடுப்போம் என்று ஆணையிட்டிருந்த தேசத்திலே அவர்களைக் கொண்டுபோய் விடக் கூடாதேபோனபடியினால், அவர்களை வனாந்தரத்திலே கொன்றுபோட்டார் என்பார்களே. Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.

17 ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் நீடிய சாந்தமும் மிகுந்த கிருபையுமுள்ளவர் என்றும், அக்கிரமத்தையும் மீறுதலையும் மன்னிக்கிறவரென்றும், குற்றமுள்ளவர்களைக் குற்றமற்றவர்களாக விடாமல், பிதாக்கள் செய்த அக்கிரமத்தைப் பிள்ளைகளிடத்தில் மூன்றாம் நான்காம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் விசாரிக்கிறவர் என்றும், நீர் சொல்லியிருக்கிறபடியே, And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,

18 என் ஆண்டவருடைய வல்லமை பெரிதாய் விளங்குவதாக. The LORD is long-suffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

19 உமது கிருபையினுடைய மகத்துவத்தின்படியேயும், எகிப்தை விட்டதுமுதல் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் இந்த ஜனங்களுக்கு மன்னித்துவந்ததின்படியேயும், இந்த ஜனங்களின் அக்கிரமத்தை மன்னித்தருளும் என்றான். Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

20 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: உன் வார்த்தையின்படியே மன்னித்தேன். And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word:

21 பூமியெல்லாம் கர்த்தருடைய மகிமையினால் நிறைந்திருக்கும் என்று என்னுடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன். But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

22 என் மகிமையையும், நான் எகிப்திலும் வனாந்தரத்திலும் செய்த என் அடையாளங்களையும் கண்டிருந்தும், என் சத்தத்துக்குச் செவிகொடாமல், இதனோடே பத்துமுறை என்னைப் பரீட்சை பார்த்த மனிதரில் ஒருவரும், Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

23 அவர்கள் பிதாக்களுக்கு நான் ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த தேசத்தைக் காணமாட்டார்கள்; எனக்குக் கோபம் உண்டாக்கினவர்களில் ஒருவரும் அதைக்காணமாட்டார்கள். Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

24 என்னுடைய தாசனாகிய காலேப் வேறே ஆவியை உடையவனாயிருக்கிறபடியினாலும், உத்தமமாய் என்னைப் பின்பற்றிவந்தபடியினாலும், அவன் போய்வந்ததேசத்திலே அவனைச் சேரப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவன் சந்ததியார் அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள். But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.

25 அமலேக்கியரும் கானானியரும் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே குடியிருக்கிறபடியினால், நாளைக்கு நீங்கள் திரும்பி சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்துக்குப் போகிற வழியாய் வனாந்தரத்துக்குப் பிரயாணம்பண்ணுங்கள் என்றார். (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) Tomorrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.

1 Appoluthu Sabaiyaar ellaarum kookkuralittup pulampinaarkal; janangal antu iraamuluthum aluthukonntirunthaarkal. And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.

2 Israel puththirar ellaarum Moseskkum aaronukkum virothamaaka muraுmuraுththaarkal. Sabaiyaar ellaarum avarkalai Nnokki: ekipthuthaesaththilae seththupponomaanaal nalamaayirukkum; intha vanaantharaththilae naangal seththaalum nalam. And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!

3 Naangal pattayaththaal matiyumpatikkum, engal pennjaathikalum pillaikalaiyum kollaiyaakumpatikkum, Karththar engalai intha thaesaththukkuk konnduvanthathu enna? Ekipthukkuth thirumpippokirathae engalukku uththamam allavo entarkal. And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

4 Pinpu avarkal: naam oru thalaivanai aerpaduththikkonndu ekipthukkuth thirumpippovom vaarungal entu oruvarotoruvar sollikkonndaarkal. And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

5 Appoluthu Mosesyum aaronum Israel puththirarin Sabaiyaaraakiya ellaak koottaththaarukku munpaakavum mukanguppura vilunthaarkal. Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

6 Thaesaththaich suttippaarththavarkalil noonin kumaaranaakiya yosuvaavum, eppunnaeyin kumaaranaakiya kaalaepum, thangal vasthirangalaik kiliththukkonndu, And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:

7 Israel puththirarin samastha Sabaiyaiyum Nnokki: naangal poych suttippaarththu sothiththa thaesam makaa nallathaesam. And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.

8 Karththar nammael piriyamaayirunthaal, anthath thaesaththilae nammaik konndupoy, paalum thaenum odukira anthath thaesaththai namakkuk koduppaar. If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.

9 Karththarukku virothamaakamaaththiram kalakampapannnnaathirungal; antha thaesaththin janangalukku neengal payappadavaenntiyathillai; avarkal namakku iraiyaavaarkal; avarkalaik kaaththa nilal avarkalai vittu vilakippoyittaு; Karththar nammotae irukkiraar; avarkalukkup payappadavaenntiyathillai entarkal. 10 Appoluthu avarkalmael kalleriyavaenndum entu Sabaiyaar ellaarum sonnaarkal; udanae karththarutaiya makimai aasarippuk koodaaraththil Israel puththirar ellaarukkum munpaakak kaanappattathu. But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.

11 Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: ethuvaraikkum intha janangal enakkuk kopam unndaakkuvaarkal? Thangalukkullae naan kaattina sakala ataiyaalangalaiyum avarkal kanndum, ethuvaraikkum ennai visuvaasiyaathiruppaarkal? And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have showed among them?

12 Naan avarkalaik kollai Nnoyinaal vaathiththu, suthantharaththukkup purampaakkippottu, avarkalaippaarkkilum unnaip perithum palaththathumaana jaathiyaakkuvaen entar. I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.

13 Moses karththarai Nnokki: ekipthiyar ithaik kaetpaarkal; avarkal naduvilirunthu ummutaiya vallamaiyinaalae intha janangalaik konnduvantheerae. And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)

14 Karththaraakiya neer intha janangalin naduvae irukkirathaiyum, karththaraakiya neer mukamukamaayth tharisanamaakirathaiyum, ummutaiya maekam ivarkalmael nirkirathaiyum, pakalil maekaththoonnilum, iravil akkiniththoonnilum, neer ivarkalukku mun sellukirathaiyum kaettirukkiraarkal, intha thaesaththin kutikalukkum solluvaarkal. And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou LORD art among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

15 Orae manithanaik kollukirathupola intha janangalaiyellaam neer kolveeraanaal, appoluthu ummutaiya geerththiyaik kaettirukkum purajaathiyaar: Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,

16 Karththar antha janangalukkuk koduppom entu aannaiyittiruntha thaesaththilae avarkalaik konndupoy vidak koodaathaeponapatiyinaal, avarkalai vanaantharaththilae kontupottar enpaarkalae. Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.

17 Aakaiyaal Karththar neetiya saanthamum mikuntha kirupaiyumullavar entum, akkiramaththaiyum meeraுthalaiyum mannikkiravarentum, kuttamullavarkalaik kuttamattavarkalaaka vidaamal, pithaakkal seytha akkiramaththaip pillaikalidaththil moontam naankaam thalaimuraimattum visaarikkiravar entum, neer solliyirukkirapatiyae, And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,

18 En aanndavarutaiya vallamai perithaay vilanguvathaaka. The LORD is long-suffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

19 Umathu kirupaiyinutaiya makaththuvaththinpatiyaeyum, ekipthai vittathumuthal innaalvaraikkum intha janangalukku manniththuvanthathinpatiyaeyum, intha janangalin akkiramaththai manniththarulum entan. Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

20 Appoluthu Karththar: un vaarththaiyinpatiyae manniththaen. And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word:

21 Poomiyellaam karththarutaiya makimaiyinaal nirainthirukkum entu ennutaiya jeevanaikkonndu sollukiraேn. But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

22 En makimaiyaiyum, naan ekipthilum vanaantharaththilum seytha en ataiyaalangalaiyum kanntirunthum, en saththaththukkuch sevikodaamal, ithanotae paththumurai ennaip pareetchaை paarththa manitharil oruvarum, Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

23 Avarkal pithaakkalukku naan aannaiyittukkoduththa thaesaththaik kaanamaattarkal; enakkuk kopam unndaakkinavarkalil oruvarum athaikkaanamaattarkal. Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

24 Ennutaiya thaasanaakiya kaalaep vaeraே aaviyai utaiyavanaayirukkirapatiyinaalum, uththamamaay ennaip pinpattivanthapatiyinaalum, avan poyvanthathaesaththilae avanaich serappannnuvaen; avan santhathiyaar athaich suthanthariththukkolluvaarkal. 25 Amalaekkiyarum kaanaaniyarum pallaththaakkilae kutiyirukkirapatiyinaal, naalaikku neengal thirumpi sivantha samuththiraththukkup pokira valiyaay vanaantharaththukkup pirayaanampannnungal entar. (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) Tomorrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
