त्यसबेला दर्शी हनानी यहूदाका राजा आसा कहाँ आए। हनानीले तिनलाई भने, “आसा तिमीलाई सहायता गरोस् भनी तिमी अरामका राजा माथि भर पर्यौ। परमप्रभु तिम्रा परमेश्वर माथि भर परेनौ। तिमी परमप्रभु माथि भरपर्नु पर्ने थियो। तर तिमी सहायताका निम्ति परमप्रभु माथि भर नपरेको हुनाले राजा अरामका सैनिकहरू तिमीबाट उम्किए।

तिनले यी अधिकारीहरूसित शहर द्वार नजिकको खुल्ला स्थानमा भेट गरे। हिजकियाहले ती अधिकारीहरूसित कुरा-कानी गरे अनि तिनीहरूलाई उत्सहित तुल्याए। तिनले भने, “दृढ अनि साहसी बन। अश्शूरका राजा वा तिनीसित भएका विशाल सेनासित नडराऊ वा सूर्ता नगर। अश्शूरका राजा जो तिनीसित भएको शक्ति भन्दा हामीसित महान शक्ति छ।

यशैया 31:1
मिश्रतिर सहायता माग्न गइरहेको मानिसहरूलाई हेर। मानिसहरूले घोडाहरू मागिरहेका छन्। घोडाहरूले तिनीहरूलाई बचाउनेछ भनेर सोच्दछन्। मिश्रबाट आएका रथहरू र घोडचढी सैन्यहरूले तिनीहरूलाई रक्षा गर्नेछ भनेर आशा गरिरहेछन्। मानिसहरूले सोच्दछन कि विशाल सैनिक हुँदा उनीहरू सुरक्षित हुनेछन्। मानिसहरूले इस्राएलका परमपवित्रलाई भरोसा गर्दैनन्। मानिसहरू परमप्रभु सँग सहायता माग्दैनन्।

भजनसंग्रह 146:3
साथ पाउनलाई तिमीहरूको अगुवामाथि आश्रित नबन मानिसहरूलाई भरोसा नगर। किन? किनभने मानिसहरूले तिमीलाई बचाउन सक्दैनन्।
