கிதியோன் கூடாரங்களிலே குடியிருக்கிறவர்கள் வழியாய் நோபாகுக்கும், யொகிபெயாவுக்கும் கிழக்கே போய், அந்தச் சேனை பயமில்லை என்றிருந்தபோது, அதை முறிய அடித்தான்.

கிதியோனும் அவனது மனிதர்களும் கூடாரங்களில் வாழ்வோரின் பாதை வழியாகச் சென்றனர். நோபாகு, யொகிபெயா ஆகிய நகரங்களின் கிழக்கில் அப்பாதை இருந்தது. கிதியோன் கர்கோர் நகரம் வரைக்கும் வந்து, பகைவரைத் தாக்கினான். எதிரிகளின் சேனை அந்தத் தாக்குதலை எதிர்பார்க்கவில்லை.
