காவற்சேனாதிபதி எரேமியாவை அழைப்பித்து, அவனை நோக்கி: உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் இந்த ஸ்தலத்துக்கு இந்தத் தீங்கு வருமென்று சொல்லியிருந்தார்.

And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, The LORD thy God hath pronounced this evil upon this place.

of the guard טַבָּחִ֖ים ṭabbāḥ ta-BAHK
Jeremiah, לְיִרְמְיָ֑הוּ yirmĕyâ yeer-meh-YA
and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
unto אֵלָ֔יו ʾēl ale
him, The Lord יְהוָ֣ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
thy God אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
hath pronounced דִּבֶּר֙ dābar da-VAHR

evil הָרָעָ֣ה raʿ ra
