בָּעֵ֤ת time, ʿēt הַהִיא֙ At the same hûʾ נְאֻם saith nĕʾum יְהוָ֔ה the Lord, yĕhōwâ אֶֽהְיֶה֙ will I be hāyâ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים the God ʾĕlōhîm לְכֹ֖ל of all kōl מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת the families mišpāḥâ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel, yiśrāʾēl וְהֵ֖מָּה and they hēm יִֽהְיוּ shall be hāyâ לִ֥י לְעָֽם׃ my people. ʿam

כֹּ֚ה Thus kō אָמַ֣ר saith ʾāmar יְהוָ֔ה the Lord, yĕhōwâ מָצָ֥א found māṣāʾ חֵן֙ grace ḥēn בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר in the wilderness; midbār עַ֖ם The people ʿam שְׂרִ֣ידֵי left śārîd חָ֑רֶב of the sword ḥereb הָל֥וֹךְ when I went hālak לְהַרְגִּיע֖וֹ to cause him to rest. rāgaʿ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Israel, yiśrāʾēl

מֵרָח֕וֹק of old rāḥôq יְהוָ֖ה The Lord yĕhōwâ נִרְאָ֣ה hath appeared rāʾâ לִ֑י וְאַהֲבַ֤ת love: ʾahăbâ עוֹלָם֙ thee with an everlasting ʿôlām אֲהַבְתִּ֔יךְ unto me, Yea, I have loved ʾāhab עַל therefore ʿal כֵּ֖ן kēn מְשַׁכְתִּ֥יךְ have I drawn thee. māšak חָֽסֶד׃ with lovingkindness ḥēsēd

ע֤וֹד Again ʿôd אֶבְנֵךְ֙ I will build bānâ וְֽנִבְנֵ֔ית thee, and thou shalt be built, bānâ בְּתוּלַ֖ת O virgin bĕtûlâ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel: yiśrāʾēl ע֚וֹד thou shalt again ʿôd תַּעְדִּ֣י be adorned ʿādâ תֻפַּ֔יִךְ with thy tabrets, tōp וְיָצָ֖את and shalt go forth yāṣāʾ בִּמְח֥וֹל in the dances māḥôl מְשַׂחֲקִֽים׃ of them that make merry. śāḥaq

ע֚וֹד Thou shalt yet ʿôd תִּטְּעִ֣י plant nāṭaʿ כְרָמִ֔ים vines kerem בְּהָרֵ֖י upon the mountains har שֹֽׁמְר֑וֹן of Samaria: šōmĕrôn נָטְע֥וּ the planters nāṭaʿ נֹטְעִ֖ים shall plant, nāṭaʿ וְחִלֵּֽלוּ׃ and shall eat as common things. ḥālal

כִּ֣י For kî יֶשׁ there shall be yēš י֔וֹם a day, yôm קָרְא֥וּ shall cry, qārāʾ נֹצְרִ֖ים the watchmen nāṣar בְּהַ֣ר upon the mount har אֶפְרָ֑יִם Ephraim ʾeprayim ק֚וּמוּ Arise qûm וְנַעֲלֶ֣ה ye, and let us go up ʿālâ צִיּ֔וֹן to Zion ṣiyyôn אֶל unto ʾēl יְהוָ֖ה the Lord yĕhōwâ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ our God. ʾĕlōhîm

כִּי For kî כֹ֣ה׀ thus kō אָמַ֣ר saith ʾāmar יְהוָ֗ה the Lord; yĕhōwâ רָנּ֤וּ Sing rānan לְיַֽעֲקֹב֙ for Jacob, yaʿăqōb שִׂמְחָ֔ה with gladness śimḥâ וְצַהֲל֖וּ and shout ṣāhal בְּרֹ֣אשׁ among the chief rōš הַגּוֹיִ֑ם of the nations: gôy הַשְׁמִ֤יעוּ publish šāmaʿ הַֽלְלוּ֙ ye, praise hālal וְאִמְר֔וּ ye, and say, ʾāmar הוֹשַׁ֤ע save yāšaʿ יְהוָה֙ O Lord, yĕhōwâ אֶֽת ʾēt עַמְּךָ֔ thy people, ʿam אֵ֖ת ʾēt שְׁאֵרִ֥ית the remnant šĕʾērît יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel. yiśrāʾēl

הִנְנִי֩ Behold, hēn מֵבִ֨יא I will bring bôʾ אוֹתָ֜ם ʾēt מֵאֶ֣רֶץ country, ʾereṣ צָפ֗וֹן them from the north ṣāpôn וְקִבַּצְתִּים֮ and gather qābaṣ מִיַּרְכְּתֵי them from the coasts yĕrēkâ אָרֶץ֒ of the earth, ʾereṣ בָּ֚ם עִוֵּ֣ר with them the blind ʿiwwēr וּפִסֵּ֔חַ and the lame, pissēaḥ הָרָ֥ה the woman with child hāre וְיֹלֶ֖דֶת and her that travaileth with child yālad יַחְדָּ֑ו together: yaḥad קָהָ֥ל company qāhāl גָּד֖וֹל a great gādôl יָשׁ֥וּבוּ shall return thither. šûb הֵֽנָּה׃ hēnnâ

בִּבְכִ֣י with weeping, bĕkî יָבֹ֗אוּ They shall come bôʾ וּֽבְתַחֲנוּנִים֮ and with supplications taḥănûn אֽוֹבִילֵם֒ will I lead yābal אֽוֹלִיכֵם֙ them: I will cause them to walk hālak אֶל by ʾēl נַ֣חֲלֵי the rivers naḥal מַ֔יִם of waters mayim בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ way, derek יָשָׁ֔ר in a straight yāšār לֹ֥א wherein they shall not lōʾ יִכָּשְׁל֖וּ stumble: kāšal בָּ֑הּ כִּֽי for kî הָיִ֤יתִי I am hāyâ לְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ to Israel, yiśrāʾēl לְאָ֔ב a father ʾāb וְאֶפְרַ֖יִם and Ephraim ʾeprayim בְּכֹ֥רִי my firstborn. bĕkôr הֽוּא׃ hûʾ

שִׁמְע֤וּ Hear šāmaʿ דְבַר the word dābār יְהוָה֙ of the Lord, yĕhōwâ גּוֹיִ֔ם O ye nations, gôy וְהַגִּ֥ידוּ and declare nāgad בָאִיִּ֖ים in the isles ʾî מִמֶּרְחָ֑ק afar off, merḥāq וְאִמְר֗וּ and say, ʾāmar מְזָרֵ֤ה He that scattered zārâ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ Israel yiśrāʾēl יְקַבְּצֶ֔נּוּ will gather qābaṣ וּשְׁמָר֖וֹ him, and keep šāmar כְּרֹעֶ֥ה him, as a shepherd rāʿâ עֶדְרֽוֹ׃ his flock. ʿēder

כִּֽי For kî פָדָ֥ה hath redeemed pādâ יְהוָ֖ה the Lord yĕhōwâ אֶֽת ʾēt יַעֲקֹ֑ב Jacob, yaʿăqōb וּגְאָל֕וֹ and ransomed gāʾal מִיַּ֖ד him from the hand yād חָזָ֥ק of stronger ḥāzāq מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ than he. min

וּבָאוּ֮ Therefore they shall come bôʾ וְרִנְּנ֣וּ and sing rānan בִמְרוֹם in the height mārôm צִיּוֹן֒ of Zion, ṣiyyôn וְנָהֲר֞וּ and shall flow together nāhar אֶל to ʾēl ט֣וּב the goodness ṭûb יְהוָ֗ה of the Lord, yĕhōwâ עַל for ʿal דָּגָן֙ wheat, dāgān וְעַל and for ʿal תִּירֹ֣שׁ wine, tîrôš וְעַל and for ʿal יִצְהָ֔ר oil, yiṣhār וְעַל and for ʿal בְּנֵי the young bēn צֹ֖אן of the flock ṣōn וּבָקָ֑ר and of the herd: bāqār וְהָיְתָ֤ה shall be hāyâ נַפְשָׁם֙ and their soul nepeš כְּגַ֣ן garden; gan רָוֶ֔ה as a watered rāwe וְלֹא and they shall not lōʾ יוֹסִ֥יפוּ any more at all. yāsap לְדַאֲבָ֖ה sorrow dāʾab עֽוֹד׃ ʿôd

אָ֣ז Then ʾāz תִּשְׂמַ֤ח rejoice śāmaḥ בְּתוּלָה֙ shall the virgin bĕtûlâ בְּמָח֔וֹל in the dance, māḥôl וּבַחֻרִ֥ים both young men bāḥûr וּזְקֵנִ֖ים and old zāqēn יַחְדָּ֑ו together: yaḥad וְהָפַכְתִּ֨י for I will turn hāpak אֶבְלָ֤ם their mourning ʾēbel לְשָׂשׂוֹן֙ into joy, śāśôn וְנִ֣חַמְתִּ֔ים and will comfort nāḥam וְשִׂמַּחְתִּ֖ים them, and make them rejoice śāmaḥ מִיגוֹנָֽם׃ from their sorrow. yāgôn

וְרִוֵּיתִ֛י And I will satiate rāwâ נֶ֥פֶשׁ the soul nepeš הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים of the priests kōhēn דָּ֑שֶׁן with fatness, dešen וְעַמִּ֛י and my people ʿam אֶת ʾēt טוּבִ֥י my goodness, ṭûb יִשְׂבָּ֖עוּ shall be satisfied with śābaʿ נְאֻם saith nĕʾum יְהוָֽה׃ the Lord. yĕhōwâ

כֹּ֣ה׀ Thus kō אָמַ֣ר saith ʾāmar יְהוָ֗ה the Lord; yĕhōwâ ק֣וֹל A voice qôl בְּרָמָ֤ה in Ramah, rāmâ נִשְׁמָע֙ was heard šāmaʿ נְהִי֙ lamentation, nĕhî בְּכִ֣י weeping; bĕkî תַמְרוּרִ֔ים bitter tamrûr רָחֵ֖ל Rahel rāḥēl מְבַכָּ֣ה weeping bākâ עַל for ʿal בָּנֶ֑יהָ her children bēn מֵאֲנָ֛ה refused māʾēn לְהִנָּחֵ֥ם to be comforted nāḥam עַל for ʿal בָּנֶ֖יהָ her children, bēn כִּ֥י because they not. kî אֵינֶֽנּוּ׃ ʾayin

כֹּ֣ה׀ Thus kō אָמַ֣ר saith ʾāmar יְהוָ֗ה the Lord; yĕhōwâ מִנְעִ֤י Refrain mānaʿ קוֹלֵךְ֙ thy voice qôl מִבֶּ֔כִי from weeping, bĕkî וְעֵינַ֖יִךְ and thine eyes ʿayin מִדִּמְעָ֑ה from tears: dimʿâ כִּי֩ for kî יֵ֨שׁ shall be yēš שָׂכָ֤ר rewarded, śākār לִפְעֻלָּתֵךְ֙ thy work pĕʿullâ נְאֻם saith nĕʾum יְהוָ֔ה the Lord; yĕhōwâ וְשָׁ֖בוּ and they shall come again šûb מֵאֶ֥רֶץ from the land ʾereṣ אוֹיֵֽב׃ of the enemy. ʾōyēb

וְיֵשׁ And there is yēš תִּקְוָ֥ה hope tiqwâ לְאַחֲרִיתֵ֖ךְ in thine end, ʾaḥărît נְאֻם saith nĕʾum יְהוָ֑ה the Lord, yĕhōwâ וְשָׁ֥בוּ shall come again šûb בָנִ֖ים that thy children bēn לִגְבוּלָֽם׃ to their own border. gĕbûl

שָׁמ֣וֹעַ I have surely šāmaʿ שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי heard šāmaʿ אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ Ephraim ʾeprayim מִתְנוֹדֵ֔ד bemoaning himself nûd יִסַּרְתַּ֙נִי֙ Thou hast chastised yāsar וָֽאִוָּסֵ֔ר me, and I was chastised, yāsar כְּעֵ֖גֶל as a bullock ʿēgel לֹ֣א unaccustomed lōʾ לֻמָּ֑ד lāmad הֲשִׁבֵ֣נִי turn šûb וְאָשׁ֔וּבָה thou me, and I shall be turned; šûb כִּ֥י for kî אַתָּ֖ה thou ʾattâ יְהוָ֥ה the Lord yĕhōwâ אֱלֹהָֽי׃ my God. ʾĕlōhîm

כִּֽי Surely kî אַחֲרֵ֤י after that ʾaḥar שׁוּבִי֙ I was turned, šûb נִחַ֔מְתִּי I repented; nāḥam וְאַֽחֲרֵי֙ and after that ʾaḥar הִוָּ֣דְעִ֔י I was instructed, yādaʿ סָפַ֖קְתִּי I smote sāpaq עַל upon ʿal יָרֵ֑ךְ thigh: yārēk בֹּ֚שְׁתִּי I was ashamed, bûš וְגַם yea, even gam נִכְלַ֔מְתִּי confounded, kālam כִּ֥י because kî נָשָׂ֖אתִי I did bear nāśāʾ חֶרְפַּ֥ת the reproach ḥerpâ נְעוּרָֽי׃ of my youth. nāʿûr

הֲבֵן֩ son? bēn יַקִּ֨יר my dear yaqqîr לִ֜י אֶפְרַ֗יִם Ephraim ʾeprayim אִ֚ם ʾim יֶ֣לֶד child? yeled שַׁעֲשֻׁעִ֔ים a pleasant šaʿšuaʿ כִּֽי for kî מִדֵּ֤י since day דַבְּרִי֙ I spake dābar בּ֔וֹ זָכֹ֥ר against him, I do earnestly zākar אֶזְכְּרֶ֖נּוּ remember zākar ע֑וֹד him still: ʿôd עַל therefore ʿal כֵּ֗ן kēn הָמ֤וּ are troubled hāmâ מֵעַי֙ my bowels mēʿe ל֔וֹ רַחֵ֥ם for him; I will surely rāḥam אֲֽרַחֲמֶ֖נּוּ have mercy rāḥam נְאֻם upon him, saith nĕʾum יְהוָֽה׃ the Lord. yĕhōwâ

הַצִּ֧יבִי Set thee up nāṣab לָ֣ךְ צִיֻּנִ֗ים waymarks, ṣiyyûn שִׂ֤מִי make śûm לָךְ֙ תַּמְרוּרִ֔ים thee high heaps: tamrûr שִׁ֣תִי set šît לִבֵּ֔ךְ thine heart lēb לַֽמְסִלָּ֖ה toward the highway, mĕsillâ דֶּ֣רֶךְ the way derek הָלָ֑כְתְּי thou wentest: hālak שׁ֚וּבִי turn again, šûb בְּתוּלַ֣ת O virgin bĕtûlâ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel, yiśrāʾēl שֻׁ֖בִי turn again šûb אֶל to ʾēl עָרַ֥יִךְ thy cities. ʿîr אֵֽלֶּה׃ these ʾēlle

עַד How long ʿad מָתַי֙ mātay תִּתְחַמָּקִ֔ין wilt thou go about, ḥāmaq הַבַּ֖ת daughter? bat הַשּֽׁוֹבֵבָ֑ה O thou backsliding šôbēb כִּֽי for kî בָרָ֨א hath created bārāʾ יְהוָ֤ה the Lord yĕhōwâ חֲדָשָׁה֙ a new thing ḥādoš בָּאָ֔רֶץ in the earth, ʾereṣ נְקֵבָ֖ה A woman nĕqēbâ תְּס֥וֹבֵֽב shall compass sābab גָּֽבֶר׃ a man. geber

כֹּֽה Thus kō אָמַ֞ר saith ʾāmar יְהוָ֤ה the Lord yĕhōwâ צְבָאוֹת֙ of hosts, ṣābāʾ אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ʾĕlōhîm יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel; yiśrāʾēl ע֣וֹד As yet ʿôd יֹאמְר֞וּ they shall use ʾāmar אֶת ʾēt הַדָּבָ֣ר speech dābār הַזֶּ֗ה this ze בְּאֶ֤רֶץ in the land ʾereṣ יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah yĕhûdâ וּבְעָרָ֔יו and in the cities ʿîr בְּשׁוּבִ֖י thereof, when I shall bring again šûb אֶת ʾēt שְׁבוּתָ֑ם their captivity; šĕbût יְבָרֶכְךָ֧ bless bārak יְהוָ֛ה The Lord yĕhōwâ נְוֵה thee, O habitation nāwe צֶ֖דֶק of justice, ṣedeq הַ֥ר mountain har הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ of holiness. qōdeš

וְיָ֥שְׁבוּ And there shall dwell yāšab בָ֛הּ יְהוּדָ֥ה in Judah yĕhûdâ וְכָל itself, and in all kōl עָרָ֖יו the cities ʿîr יַחְדָּ֑ו thereof together, yaḥad אִכָּרִ֕ים husbandmen, ʾikkār וְנָסְע֖וּ and they go forth nāsaʿ בַּעֵֽדֶר׃ with flocks. ʿēder

כִּ֥י For kî הִרְוֵ֖יתִי I have satiated rāwâ נֶ֣פֶשׁ soul, nepeš עֲיֵפָ֑ה the weary ʿāyēp וְכָל every kōl נֶ֥פֶשׁ soul. nepeš דָּאֲבָ֖ה sorrowful dāʾab מִלֵּֽאתִי׃ and I have replenished mālēʾ

עַל Upon ʿal זֹ֖את this zōt הֱקִיצֹ֣תִי I awaked, qûṣ וָאֶרְאֶ֑ה and beheld; rāʾâ וּשְׁנָתִ֖י and my sleep šēnâ עָ֥רְבָה was sweet unto me. ʿārēb לִּֽי׃

הִנֵּ֛ה Behold, hinnē יָמִ֥ים the days yôm בָּאִ֖ים come, bôʾ נְאֻם saith nĕʾum יְהוָ֑ה the Lord, yĕhōwâ וְזָרַעְתִּ֗י that I will sow zāraʿ אֶת ʾēt בֵּ֤ית the house bayit יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of Israel yiśrāʾēl וְאֶת ʾēt בֵּ֣ית and the house bayit יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah yĕhûdâ זֶ֥רַע with the seed zeraʿ אָדָ֖ם of man, ʾādām וְזֶ֥רַע and with the seed zeraʿ בְּהֵמָֽה׃ of beast. bĕhēmâ

וְהָיָ֞ה And it shall come to pass, hāyâ כַּאֲשֶׁ֧ר like as ʾăšer שָׁקַ֣דְתִּי I have watched over šāqad עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם ʿal לִנְת֧וֹשׁ them, to pluck up, nātaš וְלִנְת֛וֹץ and to break down, nātaṣ וְלַהֲרֹ֖ס and to throw down, hāras וּלְהַאֲבִ֣יד and to destroy, ʾābad וּלְהָרֵ֑עַ and to afflict; rāʿaʿ כֵּ֣ן so kēn אֶשְׁקֹ֧ד will I watch over šāqad עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם ʿal לִבְנ֥וֹת them, to build, bānâ וְלִנְט֖וֹעַ and to plant, nāṭaʿ נְאֻם saith nĕʾum יְהוָֽה׃ the Lord. yĕhōwâ

בַּיָּמִ֣ים days yôm הָהֵ֔ם In those hēm לֹא no lōʾ יֹאמְר֣וּ they shall say ʾāmar ע֔וֹד more, ʿôd אָב֖וֹת The fathers ʾāb אָ֣כְלוּ have eaten ʾākal בֹ֑סֶר a sour grape, bōser וְשִׁנֵּ֥י teeth šēn בָנִ֖ים and the children's bēn תִּקְהֶֽינָה׃ are set on edge. qāhâ

כִּ֛י But kî אִם ʾim אִ֥ישׁ every one ʾîš בַּעֲוֺנ֖וֹ for his own iniquity: ʿāwōn יָמ֑וּת shall die mût כָּל every kōl הָֽאָדָ֛ם man ʾādām הָאֹכֵ֥ל that eateth ʾākal הַבֹּ֖סֶר the sour grape, bōser תִּקְהֶ֥ינָה shall be set on edge. qāhâ שִׁנָּֽיו׃ his teeth šēn

הִנֵּ֛ה Behold, hinnē יָמִ֥ים the days yôm בָּאִ֖ים come, bôʾ נְאֻם saith nĕʾum יְהוָ֑ה the Lord, yĕhōwâ וְכָרַתִּ֗י that I will make kārat אֶת with ʾēt בֵּ֧ית the house bayit יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל of Israel, yiśrāʾēl וְאֶת and with ʾēt בֵּ֥ית the house bayit יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah: yĕhûdâ בְּרִ֥ית covenant bĕrît חֲדָשָֽׁה׃ a new ḥādoš

לֹ֣א Not lōʾ כַבְּרִ֗ית according to the covenant bĕrît אֲשֶׁ֤ר that ʾăšer כָּרַ֙תִּי֙ I made kārat אֶת with ʾēt אֲבוֹתָ֔ם their fathers ʾāb בְּיוֹם֙ in the day yôm הֶחֱזִיקִ֣י I took ḥāzaq בְיָדָ֔ם them by the hand yād לְהוֹצִיאָ֖ם to bring out yāṣāʾ מֵאֶ֖רֶץ them of the land ʾereṣ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt; miṣrayim אֲשֶׁר which ʾăšer הֵ֜מָּה they hēm הֵפֵ֣רוּ brake, pārar אֶת ʾēt בְּרִיתִ֗י my covenant bĕrît וְאָנֹכִ֛י although I ʾānōkî בָּעַ֥לְתִּי was an husband bāʿal בָ֖ם נְאֻם unto them, saith nĕʾum יְהוָֽה׃ the Lord: yĕhōwâ

כִּ֣י But kî זֹ֣את this zōt הַבְּרִ֡ית the covenant bĕrît אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ʾăšer אֶכְרֹת֩ I will make kārat אֶת with ʾēt בֵּ֨ית the house bayit יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל of Israel; yiśrāʾēl אַחֲרֵ֨י After ʾaḥar הַיָּמִ֤ים days, yôm הָהֵם֙ those hēm נְאֻם saith nĕʾum יְהוָ֔ה the Lord, yĕhōwâ נָתַ֤תִּי I will put nātan אֶת ʾēt תּֽוֹרָתִי֙ my law tôrâ בְּקִרְבָּ֔ם in their inward parts, qereb וְעַל it in ʿal לִבָּ֖ם their hearts; lēb אֶכְתֲּבֶ֑נָּה and write kātab וְהָיִ֤יתִי and will be hāyâ לָהֶם֙ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים their God, ʾĕlōhîm וְהֵ֖מָּה and they hēm יִֽהְיוּ shall be hāyâ לִ֥י לְעָֽם׃ my people. ʿam

וְלֹ֧א no lōʾ יְלַמְּד֣וּ And they shall teach lāmad ע֗וֹד more ʿôd אִ֣ישׁ every man ʾîš אֶת ʾēt רֵעֵ֜הוּ his neighbour, rēaʿ וְאִ֤ישׁ and every man ʾîš אֶת ʾēt אָחִיו֙ his brother, ʾāḥ לֵאמֹ֔ר saying, ʾāmar דְּע֖וּ Know yādaʿ אֶת ʾēt יְהוָ֑ה the Lord: yĕhōwâ כִּֽי for kî כוּלָּם֩ they shall all kōl יֵדְע֨וּ know yādaʿ אוֹתִ֜י ʾēt לְמִקְטַנָּ֤ם me, from the least qāṭān וְעַד of them unto ʿad גְּדוֹלָם֙ the greatest gādôl נְאֻם of them, saith nĕʾum יְהוָ֔ה the Lord: yĕhōwâ כִּ֤י for kî אֶסְלַח֙ I will forgive sālaḥ לַֽעֲוֹנָ֔ם their iniquity, ʿāwōn וּלְחַטָּאתָ֖ם their sin ḥaṭṭāʾâ לֹ֥א no more. lōʾ אֶזְכָּר and I will remember zākar עֽוֹד׃ ʿôd

כֹּ֣ה׀ Thus kō אָמַ֣ר saith ʾāmar יְהוָ֗ה the Lord, yĕhōwâ נֹתֵ֥ן which giveth nātan שֶׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ the sun šemeš לְא֣וֹר for a light ʾôr יוֹמָ֔ם by day, yômām חֻקֹּ֛ת the ordinances ḥuqqâ יָרֵ֥חַ of the moon yārēaḥ וְכוֹכָבִ֖ים and of the stars kôkāb לְא֣וֹר for a light ʾôr לָ֑יְלָה by night, layil רֹגַ֤ע which divideth rāgaʿ הַיָּם֙ the sea yām וַיֶּהֱמ֣וּ thereof roar; hāmâ גַלָּ֔יו when the waves gal יְהוָ֥ה The Lord yĕhōwâ צְבָא֖וֹת of hosts ṣābāʾ שְׁמֽוֹ׃ his name: šēm

אִם If ʾim יָמֻ֜שׁוּ depart mûš הַחֻקִּ֥ים ordinances ḥōq הָאֵ֛לֶּה those ʾēlle מִלְּפָנַ֖י from before pānîm נְאֻם me, saith nĕʾum יְהוָ֑ה the Lord, yĕhōwâ גַּם֩ also gam זֶ֨רַע the seed zeraʿ יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל of Israel yiśrāʾēl יִשְׁבְּת֗וּ shall cease šābat מִֽהְי֥וֹת from being hāyâ גּ֛וֹי a nation gôy לְפָנַ֖י before pānîm כָּל kōl הַיָּמִֽים׃ me for ever. yôm

כֹּ֣ה׀ Thus kō אָמַ֣ר saith ʾāmar יְהוָ֗ה the Lord; yĕhōwâ אִם If ʾim יִמַּ֤דּוּ can be measured, mādad שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ heaven šāmayim מִלְמַ֔עְלָה above maʿal וְיֵחָקְר֥וּ searched out ḥāqar מֽוֹסְדֵי and the foundations môsādâ אֶ֖רֶץ of the earth ʾereṣ לְמָ֑טָּה beneath, maṭṭâ גַּם will also gam אֲנִ֞י I ʾănî אֶמְאַ֨ס cast off māʾas בְּכָל all kōl זֶ֧רַע the seed zeraʿ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל of Israel yiśrāʾēl עַֽל for ʿal כָּל all kōl אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ʾăšer עָשׂ֖וּ they have done, ʿāśâ נְאֻם saith nĕʾum יְהוָֽה׃ the Lord. yĕhōwâ

הִנֵּ֛ה Behold, hinnē יָמִ֥ים the days yôm בָּאִ֖ים come, bôʾ נְאֻם saith nĕʾum יְהוָ֑ה the Lord, yĕhōwâ וְנִבְנְתָ֤ה shall be built bānâ הָעִיר֙ that the city ʿîr לַֽיהוָ֔ה to the Lord yĕhōwâ מִמִּגְדַּ֥ל from the tower migdāl חֲנַנְאֵ֖ל of Hananeel ḥănanʾēl שַׁ֥עַר unto the gate šaʿar הַפִּנָּֽה׃ of the corner. pinnâ

וְיָצָ֨א go forth yāṣāʾ ע֜וֹד shall yet ʿôd קָ֤וה line qāwe הַמִּדָּה֙ And the measuring middâ נֶגְדּ֔וֹ over against neged עַ֖ל it upon ʿal גִּבְעַ֣ת the hill gibʿâ גָּרֵ֑ב Gareb, gārēb וְנָסַ֖ב and shall compass about sābab גֹּעָֽתָה׃ to Goath. gōʿâ

וְכָל And the whole kōl הָעֵ֣מֶק valley ʿēmeq הַפְּגָרִ֣ים׀ of the dead bodies, peger וְהַדֶּ֡שֶׁן and of the ashes, dešen וְכָֽל and all kōl הַשְּׁרֵמוֹת֩ the fields šĕrēmâ עַד unto ʿad נַ֨חַל the brook naḥal קִדְר֜וֹן of Kidron, qidrôn עַד unto ʿad פִּנַּ֨ת the corner pinnâ שַׁ֤עַר gate šaʿar הַסּוּסִים֙ of the horse sûs מִזְרָ֔חָה toward the east, mizrāḥ קֹ֖דֶשׁ holy qōdeš לַֽיהוָ֑ה unto the Lord; yĕhōwâ לֹֽא it shall not lōʾ יִנָּתֵ֧שׁ be plucked up, nātaš וְֽלֹא nor lōʾ יֵהָרֵ֛ס thrown down hāras ע֖וֹד any more ʿôd לְעוֹלָֽם׃ for ever. ʿôlām
