மினுக்குள்ள வஸ்திரந்தரித்தவனைக் கண்ணோக்கி: நீர் இந்த நல்ல இடத்தில் உட்காரும் என்றும்; தரித்திரனைப் பார்த்து: நீ அங்கே நில்லு, அல்லது இங்கே என் பாதபடியண்டையிலே உட்காரு என்றும் நீங்கள் சொன்னால்,

நீங்கள் செல்வந்தனிடம் அதிகம் அக்கறை காட்டுகிறீர்கள். “நல்ல ஆசனத்தில் அமருங்கள்” என்று கூறுகிறீர்கள். ஆனால் ஒரு ஏழை வந்தால் அவனை நிற்கவைக்கிறீர்கள். அல்லது தரையிலே உட்காரும்படி கூறுகிறீர்கள்.

அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் பளபளப்பான ஆடை அணிந்தவர்மீது தனிக் கவனம் செலுத்தி அவரைப் பார்த்து, “தயவுசெய்து இங்கே அமருங்கள்” என்று சொல்கிறீர்கள். ஏழையிடமோ, “அங்கே போய் நில்” என்றோ அல்லது “என் கால்பக்கம் தரையில் உட்கார்” என்றோ சொல்கிறீர்கள்.
