ஏசாயா 51:23
உன்னை நோக்கி: நாங்கள் கடந்துபோகும்படிக்குக் குனியென்று சொல்லி, கடந்துபோகிறவர்களுக்கு நீ உன் முதுகைத் தரையும் வீதியுமாக்கும்படி, உன்னைச் சஞ்சலப்படுத்தினவர்களின் கையில் அதைக் கொடுப்பேன் என்றார்.

உன்னை நோக்கி: நாங்கள் கடந்துபோகும்படிக்குக் குனியென்று சொல்லி, கடந்துபோகிறவர்களுக்கு நீ உன் முதுகைத் தரையும் வீதியுமாக்கும்படி, உன்னைச் சஞ்சலப்படுத்தினவர்களின் கையில் அதைக் கொடுப்பேன் என்றார்.

உன்னைப் பாதித்தவர்களைத் தண்டிக்க எனது கோபத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துவேன். அந்த ஜனங்கள் உன்னைக் கொல்ல முயன்றார்கள். அவர்கள், ‘எங்கள் முன்பு பணியுங்கள். நாங்கள் உன்னை மிதித்துச் செல்வோம்’ என்றனர். அவர்கள் முன்பு பணியுமாறு வற்புறுத்தினார்கள். பிறகு, உனது முதுகின்மேல் புழுதியைப்போன்று மிதித்துச் சென்றனர்! நீங்கள் நடந்து செல்வதற்கான சாலையைப் போன்று இருந்தீர்கள்.”

it into the hand בְּיַד yād yahd
of them that afflict מוֹגַ֔יִךְ yāgâ ya-ɡA
thee; which אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
have said אָמְר֥וּ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
to thy soul, לְנַפְשֵׁ֖ךְ nepeš neh-FESH
Bow down, שְׁחִ֣י šāḥâ sha-HA
that we may go over: וְנַעֲבֹ֑רָה ʿābar ah-VAHR
and thou hast laid וַתָּשִׂ֤ימִי śûm soom
as the ground, כָאָ֙רֶץ֙ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
thy body גֵּוֵ֔ךְ gēw ɡave
and as the street, וְכַח֖וּץ ḥûṣ hoots
to them that went over. לַעֹבְרִֽים׃ ʿābar ah-VAHR
