ஏசாயா 22:14
மெய்யாகவே நீங்கள் சாகுமட்டும் இந்த அக்கிரமம் உங்களுக்கு நிவிர்த்தியாவதில்லை என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறாரென்பது என் செவி கேட்கும்படி சேனைகளின் கர்த்தரால் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தர் என்னிடம் இவற்றையெல்லாம் சொன்னார். இவற்றை நான் என் காதுகளால் கேட்டேன். “நீங்கள் தவறு செய்திருக்கிறீர்கள். குற்றம் மன்னிக்கப்படுவதற்கு முன்னால் நீங்கள் மரித்துப் போவீர்கள் என்று நான் உறுதிபடக் கூறுகிறேன்!” சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள எனது கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இவற்றைக் கூறினார்.

Meyyaakavae neengal saakumattum intha akkiramam ungalukku nivirththiyaavathillai entu senaikalin karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraarenpathu en sevi kaetkumpati senaikalin karththaraal therivikkappattathu.

in mine ears בְאָזְנָ֖י ʾōzen oh-ZEN
God יְהוָ֣ה yĕhōwi yeh-hoh-VEE
of hosts, צְבָא֑וֹת ṣābāʾ tsa-VA
Surely אִם ʾim eem
shall not be purged יְ֠כֻפַּר kāpar ka-FAHR
iniquity הֶעָוֺ֨ן ʿāwōn ah-VONE
this הַזֶּ֤ה ze zeh
לָכֶם֙
from you till עַד ʿad ad
ye die, תְּמֻת֔וּן mût moot
saith אָמַ֛ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
the Lord אֲדֹנָ֥י ʾădōnāy uh-doh-NAI
