फिर दाऊद ने लोगों की एक तिहाई तो योआब के, और एक तिहाई सरूयाह के पुत्र योआब के भाई अबीशै के, और एक तिहाई गती इत्तै के, अधिकार में करके युद्ध में भेज दिया। और राजा ने लोगों से कहा, मैं भी अवश्य तुम्हारे साथ चलूंगा।
