And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God's host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim.

And he said, וַיֹּ֤אמֶר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
Jacob יַֽעֲקֹב֙ yaʿăqōb ya-uh-KOVE
when כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
saw them, רָאָ֔ם rāʾâ ra-AH
host: מַֽחֲנֵ֥ה maḥăne ma-huh-NEH
God's אֱלֹהִ֖ים ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
This זֶ֑ה ze zeh
and he called וַיִּקְרָ֛א qārāʾ ka-RA
the name שֵֽׁם šēm shame
place הַמָּק֥וֹם māqôm ma-KOME
of that הַה֖וּא hûʾ hoo
