ஆபிரகாம் மாட்டுமந்தைக்கு ஓடி, ஒரு நல்ல இளங்கன்றைப் பிடித்து, வேலைக்காரன் கையிலே கொடுத்தான்; அவன் அதைச் சீக்கிரத்திலே சமைத்தான்.

a calf בֶּן bēn bane
בָּקָ֜ר bāqār ba-KAHR
tender רַ֤ךְ rak rahk
and good, וָטוֹב֙ ṭôb tove
and gave וַיִּתֵּ֣ן nātan na-TAHN
unto אֶל ʾēl ale
a young man; הַנַּ֔עַר naʿar na-AR
and he hasted וַיְמַהֵ֖ר māhar ma-HAHR
to dress it. לַֽעֲשׂ֥וֹת ʿāśâ ah-SA
אֹתֽוֹ׃ ʾēt ate
