அலறாமல் பெருமூச்சுவிடு, இழவுகொண்டாடவேண்டாம்; உன் பாகையை உன் தலையிலே கட்டி, உன் பாதரட்சைகளை உன் பாதங்களில் தொடுத்துக்கொள்; உன் தாடியை மூடாமலும் துக்கங்கொண்டாடுகிறவர்களின் அப்பத்தைப் புசியாமலும் இருக்கக்கடவாய் என்றார்.

அலறாமல் பெருமூச்சு விடு, துக்கம் கொண்டாடவேண்டாம்; உன்னுடைய தலைப்பாகையை உன்னுடைய தலையிலே கட்டி, உன்னுடைய காலணியை உன்னுடைய பாதங்களில் அணிந்துகொள்; உன்னுடைய தாடியை மூடாமலும் துக்கங்கொண்டாடுகிறவர்களின் உணவை சாப்பிடாமலும் இரு என்றார்.

Alaraamal perumoochchuvidu, ilavukonndaadavaenndaam; un paakaiyai un thalaiyilae katti, un paatharatchaைkalai un paathangalil thoduththukkol; un thaatiyai moodaamalum thukkangaொnndaadukiravarkalin appaththaip pusiyaamalum irukkakkadavaay entar.
