Psalm 132 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தாவே, தாவீதையும் அவனுடைய சகல உபத்திரவத்தையும் நினைத்தருளும். Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:

2 அவன்: நான் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒரு இடத்தையும், யாக்கோபின் வல்லவருக்கு ஒரு வாசஸ்தலத்தையும் காணுமட்டும், How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

3 என் வீடாகிய கூடாரத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பதுமில்லை, என் படுக்கையாகிய கட்டிலின்மேல் ஏறுவதுமில்லை; Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

4 என் கண்களுக்கு நித்திரையையும், என் இமைகளுக்கு உறக்கத்தையும் வரவிடுவதுமில்லை என்று, I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,

5 கர்த்தருக்கு ஆணையிட்டு, யாக்கோபின் வல்லவருக்குப் பொருத்தனை பண்ணினான். Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

6 இதோ, நாம் எப்பிராத்தாவிலே அதின் செய்தியைக் கேட்டு, வனத்தின் வெளிகளில் அதைக் கண்டோம். Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.

7 அவருடைய வாசஸ்தலங்களுக்குள் பிரவேசித்து, அவர் பாதபடியில் பணிவோம். We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

8 கர்த்தாவே, உமது வல்லமை விளங்கும் பெட்டியுடன் நீர் உமது தாபர ஸ்தலத்திற்குள் எழுந்தருளும். Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.

9 உம்முடைய ஆசாரியர்கள் நீதியைத் தரித்து, உம்முடைய பரிசுத்தவான்கள் கெம்பீரிப்பார்களாக. Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

10 நீர் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணுவித்தவனின் முகத்தை உமது தாசனாகிய தாவீதினிமித்தம் புறக்கணியாதிரும். For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.

11 உன் கர்ப்பத்தின் கனியை உன் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வைப்பேன் என்றும், The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

12 உன் குமாரர் என் உடன்படிக்கையையும், நான் போதிக்கும் என் சாட்சிகளையும் காத்து நடந்தால், அவர்கள் குமாரரும் என்றென்றைக்கும் உன் சிங்காசனத்தில் வீற்றிருப்பார்கள் என்றும், கர்த்தர் தாவீதுக்கு உண்மையாய் ஆணையிட்டார்; அவர் தவறமாட்டார். If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

13 கர்த்தர் சீயோனைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அது தமக்கு வாசஸ்தலமாகும்படி விரும்பினார். For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

14 இது என்றென்றைக்கும் நான் தங்கும் இடம்; இதை நான் விரும்பினபடியால் இங்கே வாசம்பண்ணுவேன். This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

15 அதின் ஆகாரத்தை நான் ஆசீர்வதித்து வருவேன்; அதின் ஏழைகளை நான் அப்பத்தினால் திருப்தியாக்குவேன். I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

16 அதின் ஆசாரியர்களுக்கு இரட்சிப்பை உடுத்துவேன்; அதிலுள்ள பரிசுத்தவான்கள் மிகவும் கெம்பீரிப்பார்கள். I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

17 அங்கே தாவீதுக்காக ஒரு கொம்பை முளைக்கப்பண்ணுவேன்; நான் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணுவித்தவனுக்காக ஒரு விளக்கை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணினேன். There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

18 அவன் சத்துருக்களுக்கு வெட்கத்தை உடுத்துவேன்; அவன்மீதிலோ அவன் கிரீடம் பூக்கும் என்றார். His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

1 Karththaavae, thaaveethaiyum avanutaiya sakala upaththiravaththaiyum ninaiththarulum. Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:

2 Avan: naan karththarukku oru idaththaiyum, yaakkopin vallavarukku oru vaasasthalaththaiyum kaanumattum, How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

3 En veedaakiya koodaaraththil piravaesippathumillai, en padukkaiyaakiya kattilinmael aeraுvathumillai; Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

4 En kannkalukku niththiraiyaiyum, en imaikalukku urakkaththaiyum varaviduvathumillai entu, I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,

5 Karththarukku aannaiyittu, yaakkopin vallavarukkup poruththanai pannnninaan. Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

6 Itho, naam eppiraaththaavilae athin seythiyaik kaettu, vanaththin velikalil athaik kanntoom. Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.

7 Avarutaiya vaasasthalangalukkul piravaesiththu, avar paathapatiyil pannivom. We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

8 Karththaavae, umathu vallamai vilangum pettiyudan neer umathu thaapara sthalaththirkul eluntharulum. Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.

9 Ummutaiya aasaariyarkal neethiyaith thariththu, ummutaiya Parisuththavaankal kempeerippaarkalaaka. Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

10 Neer apishaekampannnuviththavanin mukaththai umathu thaasanaakiya thaaveethinimiththam purakkanniyaathirum. For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.

11 Un karppaththin kaniyai un singaasanaththinmael vaippaen entum, The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

12 Un kumaarar en udanpatikkaiyaiyum, naan pothikkum en saatchikalaiyum kaaththu nadanthaal, avarkal kumaararum ententaikkum un singaasanaththil veettiruppaarkal entum, Karththar Davidkku unnmaiyaay aannaiyittar; avar thavaramaattar. 13 Karththar seeyonaith therinthukonndu, athu thamakku vaasasthalamaakumpati virumpinaar. For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

14 Ithu ententaikkum naan thangum idam; ithai naan virumpinapatiyaal ingae vaasampannnuvaen. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

15 Athin aakaaraththai naan aaseervathiththu varuvaen; athin aelaikalai naan appaththinaal thirupthiyaakkuvaen. I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

16 Athin aasaariyarkalukku iratchippai uduththuvaen; athilulla Parisuththavaankal mikavum kempeerippaarkal. I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

17 Angae Davidkkaaka oru kompai mulaikkappannnuvaen; naan apishaekam pannnuviththavanukkaaka oru vilakkai aayaththampannnninaen. There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

18 Avan saththurukkalukku vetkaththai uduththuvaen; avanmeethilo avan kireedam pookkum entar. His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
