Judges 7 in Tamil

1 அப்பொழுது கிதியோனாகிய யெருபாகாலும் அவனோடிருந்த ஜனங்கள் யாவரும் காலமே எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு, ஆரோத் என்னும் நீரூற்றின் கிட்டப் பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்; மீதியானியரின் பாளயம் அவனுக்கு வடக்கே மோரே மேட்டிற்குப் பின்னான பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே இருந்தது. Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.

2 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் கிதியோனை நோக்கி: நான் மீதியானியரை உன்னோடிருக்கிற ஜனத்தின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறதற்கு அவர்கள் மிகுதியாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; என் கை என்னை ரட்சித்தது என்று இஸ்ரவேல் எனக்கு விரோதமாக வீம்பு பேசுகிறதற்கு இடமாகும். And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.

3 ஆகையால் பயமும் திகிலும் உள்ளவன் எவனோ அவன் திரும்பி, கீலேயாத் மலைகளிலிருந்து விரைவாய் ஓடிப்போகக்கடவன் என்று, நீ ஜனங்களின் செவிகள் கேட்கப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்து என்றார்; அப்பொழுது ஜனத்தில் இருபத்தீராயிரம் பேர் திரும்பிப் போய்விட்டார்கள்; பதினாயிரம்பேர் மீதியாயிருந்தார்கள். Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.

4 கர்த்தர் கிதியோனை நோக்கி: ஜனங்கள் இன்னும் அதிகம், அவர்களைத் தண்ணீரண்டைக்கு இறங்கிப்போகப்பண்ணு; அங்கே அவர்களைப் பரீட்சித்துக்காட்டுவேன்; உன்னோடேகூட வரலாம் என்று நான் யாரைக் குறிக்கிறேனோ, அவன் உன்னோடேகூட வரக்கடவன்; உன்னோடேகூட வரலாகாது என்று நான் யாரைக் குறிக்கிறேனோ, அவன் உன்னோடேகூட வராதிருக்கக்கடவன் என்றார். And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go.

5 அப்படியே அவன் ஜனங்களைத் தண்ணீரண்டைக்கு இறங்கிப்போகப் பண்ணினான்; அப்போழுது கர்த்தர் கிதியோனை நோக்கி: தண்ணீரை ஒரு நாய் நக்கும் பிரகாரமாக அதைத் தன் நாவினாலே நக்குகிறவன் எவனோ, அவனைத் தனியேயும், குடிக்கிறதற்கு முழங்கால் ஊன்றிக் குனிகிறவன் எவனோ, அவனைத் தனியேயும் நிறுத்து என்றார். So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink.

6 தங்கள் கையால் அள்ளி, தங்கள் வாய்க்கெடுத்து, நக்கிக்கொண்டவர்களின் இலக்கம் முந்நூறுபேர்; மற்ற ஜனங்களெல்லாம் தண்ணீர் குடிக்கிறதற்கு முழங்கால் ஊன்றிக் குனிந்தார்கள். And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water.

7 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் கிதியோனை நோக்கி: நக்கிக்குடித்த அந்த முந்நூறுபேராலே நான் உங்களை இரட்சித்து, மீதியானியரை உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன், மற்ற ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் தங்கள் தங்கள் இடத்திற்குப் போகக்கடவர்கள் என்றார். And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.

8 அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் கையில் தின்பண்டங்களையும் எக்காளங்களையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டார்கள்; மற்ற இஸ்ரவேலரெல்லாரையும் தங்கள் தங்கள் கூடாரங்களுக்கு அனுப்பிவிட்டு, அந்த முந்நூறு பேரைமாத்திரம் வைத்துக்கொண்டான்; மீதியானியரின் சேனை அவனுக்குத் தாழ்விடமான பள்ளத்தாக்கில் இருந்தது. So the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley.

9 அன்று ராத்திரி கர்த்தர் அவனை நோக்கி: நீ எழுந்து, அந்தச் சேனையினிடத்திற்குப் போ; அதை உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தேன். And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Arise, get thee down unto the host; for I have delivered it into thine hand.

10 போΕப் பயப்பட்டாίானால், முΤல் நீயும் உɠύ வேலைக்காரனாΕிய பூΰாவும் சேனையினிடத்திற்குப் போய், But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host:

11 அங்கே என்ன பேசுகிறார்கள் என்று கேள்: பின்பு சேனையிடத்திற்குப் போக, உன் கைகள் திடப்படும் என்றார்; அப்படியே அவனும் அவன் வேலைக்காரனாகிய பூராவும் சேனையின் முன்னணியிலே ஜாமம் காக்கிறவர்களின் இடமட்டும் போனார்கள். And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host.

12 மீதியானியரும், அமலேக்கியரும், சகல கிழக்கத்திப் புத்திரரும், வெட்டுக் கிளிகளைப் போலத் திரளாய்ப் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே படுத்துக்கிடந்தார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய ஒட்டகங்களுக்கும் கணக்கில்லை, கடற்கரை மணலைப்போலத் திரளாயிருந்தது. And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.

13 கிதியோன் வந்தபோது, ஒருவன் மற்றொருவனுக்கு ஒரு சொப்பனத்தைச் சொன்னான். அதாவது: இதோ ஒரு சொப்பனத்தைக் கண்டேன்; சுட்டிருந்த ஒரு வாற்கோதுமை அப்பம் மீதியானியரின் பாளயத்திற்கு உருண்டுவந்தது; அது கூடாரமட்டும் வந்தபோது, அதை விழத்தள்ளிக் கவிழ்த்துப்போட்டது, கூடாரம் விழுந்துகிடந்தது என்றான். And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.

14 அப்பொழுது மற்றவன்: இது யோவாசின் குமாரனாகிய கிதியோன் என்னும் இஸ்ரவேலனுடைய பட்டயமே அல்லாமல் வேறல்ல; தேவன் மீதியானியரையும், இந்தச் சேனை அனைத்தையும் அவன் கையிலே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார் என்றான். And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.

15 கிதியோன் அந்தச் சொப்பனத்தையும் அதின் வியார்த்தியையும் கேட்டபோது, அவன் பணிந்துகொண்டு, இஸ்ரவேலின் பாளயத்திற்குத் திரும்பிவந்து: எழுந்திருங்கள், கர்த்தர் மீதியானியரின் பாளயத்தை உங்கள் கைகளில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார் என்று சொல்லி, And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.

And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.

18 நானும் என்னோடே இருக்கும் சகலமானபேரும் எக்காளம் ஊதும்போது, நீங்களும் பாளயத்தைச் சுற்றி எங்கும் எக்காளங்களை ஊதி, கர்த்தருடைய பட்டயம் கிதியோனுடைய பட்டயம் என்பீர்களாக என்று சொன்னான். When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all the camp, and say, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.

19 நடுஜாமத்தின் துவக்கத்தில், ஜாமக்காரரை மாற்றிவைத்தபின்பு, கிதியோனும் அவனோடிருந்த நூறுபேரும் அந்த ஜாமத்தின் துவக்கத்திலே பாளயத்தின் முன்னணியில் வந்து, எக்காளங்களை ஊதி, தங்கள் கையிலிருந்த பானைகளை உடைத்தார்கள். So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands.

20 மூன்று படைகளின் மனுஷரும் எக்காளங்களை ஊதி, பானைகளை உடைத்து, தீவட்டிகளைத் தங்கள் இடதுகைகளிலும், ஊதும் எக்காளங்களைத் தங்கள் வலது கைகளிலும் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, கர்த்தருடைய பட்டயம் கிதியோனுடைய பட்டயம் என்று சத்தமிட்டு, And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.

21 பாளயத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் அவரவர் தங்கள் நிலையிலே நின்றார்கள்; அப்பொழுது பாளயத்தில் இருந்தவர்கள் எல்லாரும் சிதறிக் கூக்குரலிட்டு, ஓடிப்போனார்கள். And they stood every man in his place round about the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.

22 முந்நூறுபேரும் எக்காளங்களை ஊதுகையில், கர்த்தர் பாளயமெங்கும் ஒருவர் பட்டயத்தை ஒருவருக்கு விரோதமாய் ஓங்கப்பண்ணினார்; சேனையானது சேரோத்திலுள்ள பெத்சித்தாமட்டும், தாபாத்திற்குச் சமீபமான ஆபேல்மேகொலாவின் எல்லைமட்டும் ஓடிப்போயிற்று. And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man's sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.

23 அப்பொழுது நப்தலி மனுஷரும், ஆசேர் மனுஷரும், மனாசேயின் சகல மனுஷருமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலர் கூடிவந்து, மீதியானியரைப் பின் தொடர்ந்துபோனார்கள். And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out of Naphtali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manasseh, and pursued after the Midianites.

24 கிதியோன் எப்பிராயீம் மலைகளெங்கும் ஆட்களை அனுப்பி: மீதியானியருக்கு விரோதமாயிறங்கி, பெத்தாபரா இருக்கும் யோர்தான்மட்டும் வந்து, அவர்களுக்கு முந்தித் துறைகளைக் கட்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னான்; அப்படியே எப்பிராயீமின் மனுஷர் எல்லாரும் கூடி, பெத்தாபரா இருக்கும் யோர்தான் மட்டும் வந்து, துறைகளைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு, And Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, come down against the Midianites, and take before them the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan.

25 மீதியானியரின் இரண்டு அதிபதிகளாகிய ஓரேபையும் சேபையும் பிடித்து, ஓரேபை ஓரேப் என்னப்பட்ட கன்மலையிலும், சேபை சேப் என்னப்பட்ட ஆலையிலும் கொன்றுபோட்டு, மீதியானியரைத் துரத்தி, ஓரேப் சேப் என்பவர்களின் தலைகளை யோர்தானுக்கு இக்கரையிலிருந்த கிதியோனிடத்துக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். And they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb; and they slew Oreb upon the rock Oreb, and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian, and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side Jordan.

1 Appoluthu kithiyonaakiya yerupaakaalum avanotiruntha janangal yaavarum kaalamae elunthu purappattu, aaroth ennum neeroottin kittap paalayamiranginaarkal; meethiyaaniyarin paalayam avanukku vadakkae morae maettirkup pinnaana pallaththaakkilae irunthathu. 2 Appoluthu Karththar kithiyonai Nnokki: naan meethiyaaniyarai unnotirukkira janaththin kaiyil oppukkodukkiratharku avarkal mikuthiyaayirukkiraarkal; en kai ennai ratchiththathu entu Israel enakku virothamaaka veempu paesukiratharku idamaakum. And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.

3 Aakaiyaal payamum thikilum ullavan evano avan thirumpi, geelaeyaath malaikalilirunthu viraivaay otippokakkadavan entu, nee janangalin sevikal kaetkap pirasiththappaduththu entar; appoluthu janaththil irupaththeeraayiram paer thirumpip poyvittarkal; pathinaayirampaer meethiyaayirunthaarkal. Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.

4 Karththar kithiyonai Nnokki: janangal innum athikam, avarkalaith thannnneeranntaikku irangippokappannnu; angae avarkalaip pareetchiththukkaattuvaen; unnotaekooda varalaam entu naan yaaraik kurikkiraேno, avan unnotaekooda varakkadavan; unnotaekooda varalaakaathu entu naan yaaraik kurikkiraேno, avan unnotaekooda varaathirukkakkadavan entar. And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go.

5 Appatiyae avan janangalaith thannnneeranntaikku irangippokap pannnninaan; appoluthu Karththar kithiyonai Nnokki: thannnneerai oru naay nakkum pirakaaramaaka athaith than naavinaalae nakkukiravan evano, avanaith thaniyaeyum, kutikkiratharku mulangaal oontik kunikiravan evano, avanaith thaniyaeyum niraுththu entar. So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink.

6 Thangal kaiyaal alli, thangal vaaykkeduththu, nakkikkonndavarkalin ilakkam munnooraுpaer; matta janangalellaam thannnneer kutikkiratharku mulangaal oontik kuninthaarkal. And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water.

7 Appoluthu Karththar kithiyonai Nnokki: nakkikkutiththa antha munnooraுpaeraalae naan ungalai iratchiththu, meethiyaaniyarai un kaiyil oppukkoduppaen, matta janangalellaarum thangal thangal idaththirkup pokakkadavarkal entar. And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.

8 Appoluthu janangal thangal kaiyil thinpanndangalaiyum ekkaalangalaiyum eduththukkonndaarkal; matta isravaelarellaaraiyum thangal thangal koodaarangalukku anuppivittu, antha munnooraு paeraimaaththiram vaiththukkonndaan; meethiyaaniyarin senai avanukkuth thaalvidamaana pallaththaakkil irunthathu. So the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley.

9 Antu raaththiri Karththar avanai Nnokki: nee elunthu, anthach senaiyinidaththirkup po; athai un kaiyil oppukkoduththaen. And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Arise, get thee down unto the host; for I have delivered it into thine hand.

10 PoΕp payappattaίாnaal, muΤl neeyum uɠύ vaelaikkaaranaaΕிya pooΰாvum senaiyinidaththirkup poy, But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host:

11 Angae enna paesukiraarkal entu kael: pinpu senaiyidaththirkup poka, un kaikal thidappadum entar; appatiyae avanum avan vaelaikkaaranaakiya pooraavum senaiyin munnanniyilae jaamam kaakkiravarkalin idamattum ponaarkal. And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host.

12 Meethiyaaniyarum, amalaekkiyarum, sakala kilakkaththip puththirarum, vettuk kilikalaip polath thiralaayp pallaththaakkilae paduththukkidanthaarkal; avarkalutaiya ottakangalukkum kanakkillai, kadarkarai manalaippolath thiralaayirunthathu. And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.

13 Kithiyon vanthapothu, oruvan mattaொruvanukku oru soppanaththaich sonnaan. Athaavathu: itho oru soppanaththaik kanntaen; suttiruntha oru vaarkothumai appam meethiyaaniyarin paalayaththirku urunnduvanthathu; athu koodaaramattum vanthapothu, athai vilaththallik kavilththuppottathu, koodaaram vilunthukidanthathu entan. And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.

14 Appoluthu mattavan: ithu yovaasin kumaaranaakiya kithiyon ennum isravaelanutaiya pattayamae allaamal vaeralla; Dhevan meethiyaaniyaraiyum, inthach senai anaiththaiyum avan kaiyilae oppukkoduththaar entan. And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.

15 Kithiyon anthach soppanaththaiyum athin viyaarththiyaiyum kaettapothu, avan panninthukonndu, isravaelin paalayaththirkuth thirumpivanthu: elunthirungal, Karththar meethiyaaniyarin paalayaththai ungal kaikalil oppukkoduththaar entu solli, And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.

16 Antha munnooraுpaerai moontu pataiyaaka vakuththu, avarkal ovvoruvan kaiyilum oru ekkaalaththaiyum, veraுm paanaiyaiyum, anthap paanaikkul vaikkum theevattiyaiyum koduththu, And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man's hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.

17 Avarkalai Nnokki: naan seyvathaip paarththu, appatiyae neengalum seyyungal. Itho, naan paalayaththin munnanniyil vanthirukkumpothu, naan eppatich seykiraேno appatiyae neengalum seyyavaenndum. And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.

18 Naanum ennotae irukkum sakalamaanapaerum ekkaalam oothumpothu, neengalum paalayaththaich sutti engum ekkaalangalai oothi, karththarutaiya pattayam kithiyonutaiya pattayam enpeerkalaaka entu sonnaan. When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all the camp, and say, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.

19 Nadujaamaththin thuvakkaththil, jaamakkaararai maattivaiththapinpu, kithiyonum avanotiruntha nooraுpaerum antha jaamaththin thuvakkaththilae paalayaththin munnanniyil vanthu, ekkaalangalai oothi, thangal kaiyiliruntha paanaikalai utaiththaarkal. So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands.

20 Moontu pataikalin manusharum ekkaalangalai oothi, paanaikalai utaiththu, theevattikalaith thangal idathukaikalilum, oothum ekkaalangalaith thangal valathu kaikalilum pitiththukkonndu, karththarutaiya pattayam kithiyonutaiya pattayam entu saththamittu, And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.

21 Paalayaththaich suttilum avaravar thangal nilaiyilae nintarkal; appoluthu paalayaththil irunthavarkal ellaarum sitharik kookkuralittu, otipponaarkal. And they stood every man in his place round about the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.

22 Munnooraுpaerum ekkaalangalai oothukaiyil, Karththar paalayamengum oruvar pattayaththai oruvarukku virothamaay ongappannnninaar; senaiyaanathu seroththilulla pethsiththaamattum, thaapaaththirkuch sameepamaana aapaelmaekolaavin ellaimattum otippoyittaு. And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man's sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.
