ஆமோஸ் 4:8
இரண்டு மூன்று பட்டணங்களின் மனுஷர் தண்ண ΰ் குடிக்க பட்டணத்துக்குப் போய் அலைந்தும் தாகந்தீத்துக்கொள்ளவில்லை; ஆகிலும் நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் திரும்பாமற்போனீர்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

இரண்டு மூன்று பட்டணங்களின் மனிதர்கள் தண்ணீர் குடிக்க ஒரே பட்டணத்திற்குப் போய் அலைந்தும் தாகம் தீர்த்துக்கொள்ளவில்லை; ஆகிலும் நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் திரும்பாமல்போனீர்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

எனவே இரண்டு அல்லது மூன்று நகரங்களிலுள்ள ஜனங்கள் அடுத்த நகருக்கு தண்ணீர் எடுப்பதற்காகச் சென்றனர். ஆனால் எல்லோருக்கும் அங்கு தண்ணீர் போதுமானதாக இல்லை. இருந்தாலும் நீங்கள் உதவிக்காக என்னிடம் வரவில்லை” என்று கர்த்தர் கூறினார்.
