18 அப்பொழுது தாவீதுராஜா உட்பிரவேசித்து, கர்த்தருடைய சமுகத்திலிருந்து: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, தேவரீர் என்னை இதுவரைக்கும் கொண்டுவந்ததற்கு, நான் எம்மாத்திரம்? என் வீடும் எம்மாத்திரம்? Then went king David in, and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?

19 கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே இது இன்னும் உம்முடைய பார்வைக்குக் கொஞ்சகாரியமாயிருக்கிறது என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவராயிருக்கிற தேவரீர் உம்முடைய அடியானுடைய வீட்டைக்குறித்து, வெகுதூரமாயிருக்கும் காலத்துச்செய்தியை மனுஷர் முறைமையாய்ச்சொன்னீரே. And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?

20 இனி தாவீது உம்மிடத்தில் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்ன? கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவராயிருக்கிற நீர் உமது அடியானை அறிவீர். And what can David say more unto thee? for thou, Lord GOD, knowest thy servant.

21 உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்தத்தினிமித்தமும், உம்முடைய சித்தத்தின்படியேயும், இந்தப் பெரிய காரியங்களையெல்லாம் உமது அடியானுக்கு அறிவிக்கும்படிக்குத் தயவுசெய்தீர். For thy word's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them.

22 ஆகையால் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரே, நீர் பெரியவர் என்று விளங்குகிறது; நாங்கள் எங்கள் காதுகளாலே கேட்ட சகல காரியங்களின்படியும், தேவரீருக்கு நிகரானவர் இல்லை: உம்மைத்தவிர வேறேதேவனும் இல்லை. Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

23 உம்முடைய ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நிகரான ஜனமும் உண்டோ? பூலோகத்து ஜாதிகளில் இந்த ஒரே ஜாதியை தேவன் தமக்கு ஜனமாக மீட்கிறதற்கும், தமக்குக் கீர்த்தி விளங்கப்பண்ணுகிறதற்கும் ஏற்பட்டாரே; தேவரீர் எகிப்திலிருந்து மீட்டுக்கொண்டுவந்த உம்முடைய ஜனத்திற்குமுன்பாக பயங்கரமான பெரிய காரியங்களை நடத்தி, உம்முடைய தேசத்திற்கும், அதிலிருந்த ஜாதிகளுக்கும், அவர்கள் தேவர்களுக்கும், உமது மகிமையை விளங்கச்செய்து, And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

24 உம்முடைய ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலர் என்றைக்கும் உம்முடைய ஜனமாயிருப்பதற்கு, அவர்களைத் திடப்படுத்தி, கர்த்தராகிய நீர்தாமே அவர்களுக்கு தேவனானீர். For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, LORD, art become their God.

25 இப்போதும் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீர் உமது அடியானையும் அவன் வீட்டையும் குறித்துச் சொன்ன வார்த்தையை என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைவரப்படுத்த, தேவரீர் சொன்னபடியே செய்தருளும். And now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said.

26 அப்படியே சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் தேவனானவர் என்று சொல்லி, உம்முடைய நாமம் என்றென்றைக்கும் மகிமைப்படுவதாக; உமது அடியானாகிய தாவீதின் வீடு உமக்கு முன்பாக நிலைநிற்பதாக. And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee.

27 உனக்கு வீடுகட்டுவேன் என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராயிருக்கிற நீர் உமது அடியானின் செவிக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினீர்; ஆகையால் உம்மை நோக்கி இந்த விண்ணப்பத்தைச் செய்ய உமது அடியானுக்கு மனத்தைரியம் கிடைத்தது. For thou, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee.

28 இப்போதும் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, நீரே தேவன்; உம்முடைய வார்த்தைகள் சத்தியம்; தேவரீர் உமது அடியானுக்கு இந்த நல்விசேஷங்களை வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணினீர். And now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:

18 Appoluthu Davidraajaa utpiravaesiththu, karththarutaiya samukaththilirunthu: karththaraakiya aanndavarae, thaevareer ennai ithuvaraikkum konnduvanthatharku, naan emmaaththiram? En veedum emmaaththiram? Then went king David in, and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?

19 Karththaraakiya aanndavarae ithu innum ummutaiya paarvaikkuk konjakaariyamaayirukkirathu entu karththaraakiya aanndavaraayirukkira thaevareer ummutaiya atiyaanutaiya veettaைkkuriththu, vekuthooramaayirukkum kaalaththuchcheythiyai manushar muraimaiyaaychchaொnneerae. And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?

20 Ini David ummidaththil sollavaenntiyathu enna? Karththaraakiya aanndavaraayirukkira neer umathu atiyaanai ariveer. And what can David say more unto thee? for thou, Lord GOD, knowest thy servant.

21 Ummutaiya vaakkuththaththaththinimiththamum, ummutaiya siththaththinpatiyaeyum, inthap periya kaariyangalaiyellaam umathu atiyaanukku arivikkumpatikkuth thayavuseytheer. For thy word's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them.

22 Aakaiyaal thaevanaakiya karththarae, neer periyavar entu vilangukirathu; naangal engal kaathukalaalae kaetta sakala kaariyangalinpatiyum, thaevareerukku nikaraanavar illai: ummaiththavira vaeraேthaevanum illai. Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

23 Ummutaiya janamaakiya isravaelukku nikaraana janamum unntoo? Poolokaththu jaathikalil intha orae jaathiyai Dhevan thamakku janamaaka meetkiratharkum, thamakkuk geerththi vilangappannnukiratharkum aerpattarae; thaevareer ekipthilirunthu meettukkonnduvantha ummutaiya janaththirkumunpaaka payangaramaana periya kaariyangalai nadaththi, ummutaiya thaesaththirkum, athiliruntha jaathikalukkum, avarkal thaevarkalukkum, umathu makimaiyai vilangachcheythu, And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

24 Ummutaiya janamaakiya isravaelar entaikkum ummutaiya janamaayiruppatharku, avarkalaith thidappaduththi, karththaraakiya neerthaamae avarkalukku thaevanaaneer. For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, LORD, art become their God.

25 Ippothum thaevanaakiya karththaavae, neer umathu atiyaanaiyum avan veettaைyum kuriththuch sonna vaarththaiyai ententaikkum nilaivarappaduththa, thaevareer sonnapatiyae seytharulum. And now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said.

26 Appatiyae senaikalin Karththar isravaelinmael thaevanaanavar entu solli, ummutaiya naamam ententaikkum makimaippaduvathaaka; umathu atiyaanaakiya thaaveethin veedu umakku munpaaka nilainirpathaaka. And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee.

27 Unakku veedukattuvaen entu isravaelin thaevanaakiya senaikalin karththaraayirukkira neer umathu atiyaanin sevikku velippaduththineer; aakaiyaal ummai Nnokki intha vinnnappaththaich seyya umathu atiyaanukku manaththairiyam kitaiththathu. For thou, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee.

28 Ippothum karththaraakiya aanndavarae, neerae Dhevan; ummutaiya vaarththaikal saththiyam; thaevareer umathu atiyaanukku intha nalviseshangalai vaakkuththaththampannnnineer. And now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:
