அவன் எருசலேமிலிருந்து ராஜாவுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுவருகிறபோது, ராஜா அவனைப் பார்த்து: மேவிபோசேத்தே, நீ என்னோடுகூட வராமல்போனது என்ன என்று கேட்டான்.

மேவிபோசேத் எருசலேமிலிருந்து அரசனைச் சந்திக்க வந்தான். அரசன் மேவிபோசேத்தை நோக்கி, “மேவிபோசேத், நான் எருசலேமிலிருந்து ஓடிப் போனபோது நீ ஏன் என்னோடு வரவில்லை?” என்று கேட்டான்.

the king,	הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
said	וַיֹּ֤אמֶר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
	לוֹ֙
that the king	הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
unto him, Wherefore	לָ֛מָּה	mâ	ma
not	לֹֽא	lōʾ	loh
wentest	הָלַ֥כְתָּ	hālak	ha-LAHK
