எருசலேமிலே அவனுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கட்டுப்பாடு பண்ணினார்கள்; அப்பொழுது லாகீசுக்கு ஓடிப்போனான்; ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் அவன் பிறகே லாகீசுக்கு மனுஷரை அனுப்பி, அங்கே அவனைக் கொன்றுபோட்டு,

Now they made	וַיִּקְשְׁר֨וּ	qāšar	ka-SHAHR
against	עָלָ֥יו	ʿal	al
a conspiracy	קֶ֛שֶׁר	qešer	keh-SHER
him in Jerusalem:	בִּירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם	yĕrûšālaim	yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM
and he fled	וַיָּ֣נָס	nûs	noos
to Lachish;	לָכִ֑ישָׁה	lākîš	la-HEESH
but they sent	וַיִּשְׁלְח֤וּ	šālaḥ	sha-LAHK
