அவன் ராஜாவாகிறபோது முப்பத்திரண்டு வயதாயிருந்து, எட்டு வருஷம் எருசலேமில் அரசாண்டு, விரும்புவாரில்லாமல் இறந்துபோனான்; அவனைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; ஆனாலும் ராஜாக்களின் கல்லறைகளில் அவனை வைக்கவில்லை.
