1 Samuel 25:1-13 in Tamil in Tamil

1 சாமுவேல் மரணமடைந்தான். இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் கூடிவந்து, அவனுக்காகத் துக்கங்கொண்டாடி, ராமாவிலிருக்கிற அவனுடைய வளவிலே அவனை அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; தாவீது எழுந்து, பாரான் வனாந்தரத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுப் போனான். And Samuel died; and all the Israelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of Paran.

7 இப்பொழுது ஆடுகளை மயிர்கத்தரிக்கிறவர்கள் உம்மிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள் என்று கேள்விப்பட்டேன்; உம்முடைய மேய்ப்பர் எங்களோடேகூட இருந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் கர்மேலில் இருந்த நாளெல்லாம் நாங்கள் அவர்களை வருத்தப்படுத்தவில்லை; அவர்களுடைய பொருள் ஒன்றும் காணாமற்போனதும் இல்லை. And now I have heard that thou hast shearers: now thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.

Ask thy young men, and they will show thee. Wherefore let the young men find favor in thine eyes: for we come in a good day: give, I pray thee, whatsoever cometh to thine hand unto thy servants, and to thy son David.

And Nabal answered David's servants, and said, Who is David? and who is the son of Jesse? there be many servants now a days that break away every man from his master.

11 நான் என் அப்பத்தையும், என் தண்ணீரையும், என் ஆடுகளை மயிர்கத்தரிக்கிறவர்களுக்காக நான் அடித்துச் சமையல் பண்ணுவித்ததையும் எடுத்து, இன்ன இடத்தார் என்று நான் அறியாத மனுஷருக்குக் கொடுப்பேனோ என்றான். Shall I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be?

12 தாவீதின் வாலிபர் தங்கள் வழியே திரும்பி, மறுபடியும் தாவீதினிடத்தில் வந்து, இந்த வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம் அவனுக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள். So David's young men turned their way, and went again, and came and told him all those sayings.

And David said unto his men, Gird ye on every man his sword. And they girded on every man his sword; and David also girded on his sword: and there went up after David about four hundred men; and two hundred abode by the stuff.

1 Saamuvael maranamatainthaan. Isravaelar ellaarum kootivanthu, avanukkaakath thukkangaொnndaati, raamaavilirukkira avanutaiya valavilae avanai adakkampannnninaarkal; David elunthu, paaraan vanaantharaththirkup purappattup ponaan. And Samuel died; and all the Israelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of Paran.

2 Maakonilae oru manushan irunthaan; avanutaiya tholilthurai karmaelil irunthathu; antha manushan makaa paarik kutiththanakkaaranaayirunthaan; avanukku moovaayiram aadum, aayiram vellaadum irunthathu; avan appoluthu karmaelil than aadukalai mayir kaththariththukkonntirunthaan. And there was a man in Maon, whose possessions were in Carmel; and the man was very great, and he had three thousand sheep, and a thousand goats: and he was shearing his sheep in Carmel.

3 Antha manushanukku naapaal entum, avan manaivikku apikaayil entum peyar; antha sthiree makaa puththisaaliyum roopavathiyumaayirunthaal; anthap purushano muradanum thuraakiruthanumaayirunthaan; avan kaalaeputaiya santhathiyaan. Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail: and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was churlish and evil in his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb.

4 Naapaal than aadukalai mayirkaththarikkira seythiyai vanaantharaththil irukkira David kaettapothu, And David heard in the wilderness that Nabal did shear his sheep.

5 David paththu vaaliparai alaiththu: neengal karmaelukkup poy, naapaalidaththil sentu, en paeraichchaொlli, avan sukaseythiyai visaariththu, And David sent out ten young men, and David said unto the young men, Get you up to Carmel, and go to Nabal, and greet him in my name:

6 Avanai Nnokki: neer vaalka, umakkuch samaathaanamum, ummutaiya veettukkuch samaathaanamum, umakku unndaana ellaavattirkum samaathaanamum unndaavathaaka entu avanai vaalththi, And thus shall ye say to him that liveth in prosperity, Peace be both to thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be unto all that thou hast.

7 Ippoluthu aadukalai mayirkaththarikkiravarkal ummidaththil irukkiraarkal entu kaelvippattaேn; ummutaiya maeyppar engalotaekooda irunthaarkal; avarkal karmaelil iruntha naalellaam naangal avarkalai varuththappaduththavillai; avarkalutaiya porul ontum kaannaamarponathum illai. And now I have heard that thou hast shearers: now thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.

8 Ummutaiya vaelaikkaararaik kaelum; avarkal umakkuch solluvaarkal; aathalaal intha vaaliparukku ummutaiya kannkalilae thayaikitaikkavaenndum; nalla naalil vanthom; ummutaiya kaikku uthavuvathai ummutaiya ooliyakkaararukkum, ummutaiya kumaaranaakiya Davidkkum kodukkumpati vaenndukiraேn entu sollungal entan. Ask thy young men, and they will show thee. Wherefore let the young men find favor in thine eyes: for we come in a good day: give, I pray thee, whatsoever cometh to thine hand unto thy servants, and to thy son David.

9 Thaaveethin vaalipar poy, intha vaarththaikalaiyellaam thaaveethin naamaththinaalae naapaalidaththil solli, pinnontum paesaathirunthaarkal. And when David's young men came, they spake to Nabal according to all those words in the name of David, and ceased.

10 Naapaal thaaveethin ooliyakkaararukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka: David enpavan yaar? Eesaayin kumaaran yaar? Thangal ejamaankalai vittu otippokira vaelaikkaarar innaalil anaekar unndu. And Nabal answered David's servants, and said, Who is David? and who is the son of Jesse? there be many servants now a days that break away every man from his master.

11 Naan en appaththaiyum, en thannnneeraiyum, en aadukalai mayirkaththarikkiravarkalukkaaka naan atiththuch samaiyal pannnuviththathaiyum eduththu, inna idaththaar entu naan ariyaatha manusharukkuk koduppaeno entan. Shall I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be?

12 Thaaveethin vaalipar thangal valiyae thirumpi, maraுpatiyum thaaveethinidaththil vanthu, intha vaarththaikalaiyellaam avanukku ariviththaarkal. So David's young men turned their way, and went again, and came and told him all those sayings.

13 Appoluthu David than manusharaip paarththu: neengal avaravar ungal pattayaththaik kattikkollungal entan; avaravar thangal pattayaththaik kattikkonndaarkal; Davidm than pattayaththaik kattikkonndaan; aerakkuraiya naanooraுpaer Davidkkup pin sentu purappattupponaarkal; irunooraுpaer rasthukkal anntaiyil irunthuvittarkal. And David said unto his men, Gird ye on every man his sword. And they girded on every man his sword; and David also girded on his sword: and there went up after David about four hundred men; and two hundred abode by the stuff.
