וּבְנֵ֖י And the sons bēn קְהָ֑ת of Kohath; qĕhāt עַמְרָ֣ם Amram, ʿamrām יִצְהָ֔ר Izhar, yiṣhār וְחֶבְר֖וֹן and Hebron, ḥebrôn וְעֻזִּיאֵֽל׃ and Uzziel. ʿuzzîʾēl

וּבְנֵ֣י And the children bēn עַמְרָ֔ם of Amram; ʿamrām אַֽהֲרֹ֥ן Aaron, ʾahărôn וּמֹשֶׁ֖ה and Moses, mōše וּמִרְיָ֑ם and Miriam. miryām וּבְנֵ֣י The sons bēn אַֽהֲרֹ֔ן also of Aaron; ʾahărôn נָדָב֙ Nadab, nādāb וַֽאֲבִיה֔וּא and Abihu, ʾăbîhûʾ אֶלְעָזָ֖ר Eleazar, ʾelʿāzār וְאִֽיתָמָֽר׃ and Ithamar. ʾîtāmār

אֶלְעָזָר֙ Eleazar ʾelʿāzār הוֹלִ֣יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt פִּֽינְחָ֔ס Phinehas, pînĕḥās פִּֽינְחָ֖ס Phinehas pînĕḥās הֹלִ֥יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt אֲבִישֽׁוּעַ׃ Abishua, ʾăbîšûaʿ

וַֽאֲבִישׁ֙וּעַ֙ And Abishua ʾăbîšûaʿ הוֹלִ֣יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt בֻּקִּ֔י Bukki, buqqî וּבֻקִּ֖י and Bukki buqqî הוֹלִ֥יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt עֻזִּֽי׃ Uzzi, ʿuzzî

וְעֻזִּי֙ And Uzzi ʿuzzî הוֹלִ֣יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt זְרַֽחְיָ֔ה Zerahiah, zĕraḥyâ וּֽזְרַֽחְיָ֖ה and Zerahiah zĕraḥyâ הוֹלִ֥יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt מְרָיֽוֹת׃ Meraioth, mĕrāyôt

מְרָיוֹת֙ Meraioth mĕrāyôt הוֹלִ֣יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt אֲמַרְיָ֔ה Amariah, ʾămaryâ וַֽאֲמַרְיָ֖ה and Amariah ʾămaryâ הוֹלִ֥יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt אֲחִיטֽוּב׃ Ahitub, ʾăḥîṭûb

וַֽאֲחִיטוּב֙ And Ahitub ʾăḥîṭûb הוֹלִ֣יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt צָד֔וֹק Zadok, ṣādôq וְצָד֖וֹק and Zadok ṣādôq הוֹלִ֥יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt אֲחִימָֽעַץ׃ Ahimaaz, ʾăḥîmaʿaṣ

וַֽאֲחִימַ֙עַץ֙ And Ahimaaz ʾăḥîmaʿaṣ הוֹלִ֣יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt עֲזַרְיָ֔ה Azariah, ʿăzaryâ וַֽעֲזַרְיָ֖ה and Azariah ʿăzaryâ הוֹלִ֥יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt יֽוֹחָנָֽן׃ Johanan, yôḥānān

וְיֽוֹחָנָ֖ן And Johanan yôḥānān הוֹלִ֣יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt עֲזַרְיָ֑ה Azariah, ʿăzaryâ ה֚וּא (he hûʾ אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ʾăšer כִּהֵ֔ן executed the priest's office kāhan בַּבַּ֕יִת in the temple bayit אֲשֶׁר that ʾăšer בָּנָ֥ה built bānâ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה Solomon šĕlōmō בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem:) yĕrûšālaim

וַיּ֥וֹלֶד begat yālad עֲזַרְיָ֖ה And Azariah ʿăzaryâ אֶת ʾēt אֲמַרְיָ֑ה Amariah, ʾămaryâ וַֽאֲמַרְיָ֖ה and Amariah ʾămaryâ הוֹלִ֥יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt אֲחִיטֽוּב׃ Ahitub, ʾăḥîṭûb

וַֽאֲחִיטוּב֙ And Ahitub ʾăḥîṭûb הוֹלִ֣יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt צָד֔וֹק Zadok, ṣādôq וְצָד֖וֹק and Zadok ṣādôq הוֹלִ֥יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt שַׁלּֽוּם׃ Shallum, šallûm

וְשַׁלּוּם֙ And Shallum šallûm הוֹלִ֣יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt חִלְקִיָּ֔ה Hilkiah, ḥilqiyyâ וְחִלְקִיָּ֖ה and Hilkiah ḥilqiyyâ הוֹלִ֥יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt עֲזַרְיָֽה׃ Azariah, ʿăzaryâ

וַֽעֲזַרְיָה֙ And Azariah ʿăzaryâ הוֹלִ֣יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt שְׂרָיָ֔ה Seraiah, śĕrāyâ וּשְׂרָיָ֖ה and Seraiah śĕrāyâ הוֹלִ֥יד begat yālad אֶת ʾēt יְהֽוֹצָדָֽק׃ Jehozadak, yĕhôṣādāq

וִֽיהוֹצָדָ֣ק And Jehozadak yĕhôṣādāq הָלַ֔ךְ went hālak בְּהַגְל֣וֹת carried away gālâ יְהוָ֔ה when the Lord yĕhōwâ אֶת ʾēt יְהוּדָ֖ה Judah yĕhûdâ וִירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם and Jerusalem yĕrûšālaim בְּיַ֖ד by the hand yād נְבֻֽכַדְנֶאצַּֽר׃ of Nebuchadnezzar. nĕbûkadneʾṣṣar

בְּנֵ֖י The sons bēn לֵוִ֑י of Levi; lēwî גֵּֽרְשֹׁ֕ם Gershom, gērĕšōm קְהָ֖ת Kohath, qĕhāt וּמְרָרִֽי׃ and Merari. mĕrārî

וְאֵ֛לֶּה And these ʾēlle שְׁמ֥וֹת the names šēm בְּֽנֵי of the sons bēn גֵרְשׁ֖וֹם of Gershom; gērĕšōm לִבְנִ֥י Libni, libnî וְשִׁמְעִֽי׃ and Shimei. šimʿî

וּבְנֵ֖י And the sons bēn קְהָ֑ת of Kohath qĕhāt עַמְרָ֣ם Amram, ʿamrām וְיִצְהָ֔ר and Izhar, yiṣhār וְחֶבְר֖וֹן and Hebron, ḥebrôn וְעֻזִּיאֵֽל׃ and Uzziel. ʿuzzîʾēl

בְּנֵ֥י The sons bēn מְרָרִ֖י of Merari; mĕrārî מַחְלִ֣י Mahli, maḥlî וּמֻשִׁ֑י and Mushi. mûšî וְאֵ֛לֶּה And these ʾēlle מִשְׁפְּח֥וֹת the families mišpāḥâ הַלֵּוִ֖י of the Levites lēwiyyî לַאֲבֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ according to their fathers. ʾāb

לְֽגֵרְשׁ֑וֹם Of Gershom; gērĕšōm לִבְנִ֥י Libni libnî בְנ֛וֹ his son, bēn יַ֥חַת Jahath yaḥat בְּנ֖וֹ his son, bēn זִמָּ֥ה Zimmah zimmâ בְנֽוֹ׃ his son, bēn

יוֹאָ֤ח Joah yôʾāḥ בְּנוֹ֙ his son, bēn עִדּ֣וֹ Iddo ʿiddô בְנ֔וֹ his son, bēn זֶ֥רַח Zerah zeraḥ בְּנ֖וֹ his son, bēn יְאָתְרַ֥י Jeaterai yĕʾotray בְּנֽוֹ׃ his son. bēn

בְּנֵ֖י The sons bēn קְהָ֑ת of Kohath; qĕhāt עַמִּֽינָדָ֣ב Amminadab ʿammînādāb בְּנ֔וֹ his son, bēn קֹ֥רַח Korah qōraḥ בְּנ֖וֹ his son, bēn אַסִּ֥יר Assir ʾassîr בְּנֽוֹ׃ his son, bēn

אֶלְקָנָ֥ה Elkanah ʾelqānâ בְנ֛וֹ his son, bēn וְאֶבְיָסָ֥ף and Ebiasaph ʾebyāsāp בְּנ֖וֹ his son, bēn וְאַסִּ֥יר and Assir ʾassîr בְּנֽוֹ׃ his son, bēn

תַּ֤חַת Tahath taḥat בְּנוֹ֙ his son, bēn אֽוּרִיאֵ֣ל Uriel ʾûrîʾēl בְּנ֔וֹ his son, bēn עֻזִּיָּ֥ה Uzziah ʿuzziyyâ בְנ֖וֹ his son, bēn וְשָׁא֥וּל and Shaul šāʾûl בְּנֽוֹ׃ his son. bēn

וּבְנֵי֙ And the sons bēn אֶלְקָנָ֔ה of Elkanah; ʾelqānâ עֲמָשַׂ֖י Amasai, ʿămāśay וַֽאֲחִימֽוֹת׃ and Ahimoth. ʾăḥîmôt

אֶלְקָנָ֑ה Elkanah: ʾelqānâ בְּנֵו֙ the sons bēn אֶלְקָנָ֔ה of Elkanah; ʾelqānâ צוֹפַ֥י Zophai ṣûp בְּנ֖וֹ his son, bēn וְנַ֥חַת and Nahath naḥat בְּנֽוֹ׃ his son, bēn

אֱלִיאָ֥ב Eliab ʾĕlîʾāb בְּנ֛וֹ his son, bēn יְרֹחָ֥ם Jeroham yĕrōḥām בְּנ֖וֹ his son, bēn אֶלְקָנָ֥ה Elkanah ʾelqānâ בְנֽוֹ׃ his son. bēn

וּבְנֵ֧י And the sons bēn שְׁמוּאֵ֛ל of Samuel; šĕmûʾēl הַבְּכֹ֥ר the firstborn bĕkôr וַשְׁנִ֖י Vashni, wašnî וַֽאֲבִיָּֽה׃ and Abiah. ʾăbiyyâ

בְּנֵ֥י The sons bēn מְרָרִ֖י of Merari; mĕrārî מַחְלִ֑י Mahli, maḥlî לִבְנִ֥י Libni libnî בְנ֛וֹ his son, bēn שִׁמְעִ֥י Shimei šimʿî בְנ֖וֹ his son, bēn עֻזָּ֥ה Uzza ʿuzzāʾ בְנֽוֹ׃ his son, bēn

שִׁמְעָ֥א Shimea šimʿāʾ בְנ֛וֹ his son, bēn חַגִּיָּ֥ה Haggiah ḥaggiyyâ בְנ֖וֹ his son, bēn עֲשָׂיָ֥ה Asaiah ʿăśāyâ בְנֽוֹ׃ his son. bēn

וְאֵ֗לֶּה And these ʾēlle אֲשֶׁ֨ר whom ʾăšer הֶֽעֱמִ֥יד set ʿāmad דָּוִ֛יד David dāwid עַל over ʿal יְדֵי the service yād שִׁ֖יר of song šîr בֵּ֣ית in the house bayit יְהוָ֑ה of the Lord, yĕhōwâ מִמְּנ֖וֹחַ had rest. mānôaḥ הָֽאָרֽוֹן׃ after that the ark ʾārôn

וַיִּֽהְי֨וּ hāyâ מְשָֽׁרְתִ֜ים And they ministered šārat לִפְנֵ֨י before pānîm מִשְׁכַּ֤ן the dwelling place miškān אֹֽהֶל of the tabernacle ʾōhel מוֹעֵד֙ of the congregation môʿēd בַּשִּׁ֔יר with singing, šîr עַד until ʿad בְּנ֧וֹת had built bānâ שְׁלֹמֹ֛ה Solomon šĕlōmō אֶת ʾēt בֵּ֥ית the house bayit יְהוָ֖ה of the Lord yĕhōwâ בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם in Jerusalem: yĕrûšālaim וַיַּֽעַמְד֥וּ and they waited ʿāmad כְמִשְׁפָּטָ֖ם according to their order. mišpāṭ עַל on ʿal עֲבֽוֹדָתָֽם׃ their office ʿăbōdâ

וְאֵ֥לֶּה And these ʾēlle הָעֹֽמְדִ֖ים they that waited ʿāmad וּבְנֵיהֶ֑ם with their children. bēn מִבְּנֵי֙ Of the sons bēn הַקְּהָתִ֔י of the Kohathites: qŏhātî הֵימָן֙ Heman hêmān הַמְשׁוֹרֵ֔ר a singer, šîr בֶּן the son bēn יוֹאֵ֖ל of Joel, yôʾēl בֶּן the son bēn שְׁמוּאֵֽל׃ of Shemuel, šĕmûʾēl

בֶּן The son bēn אֶלְקָנָה֙ of Elkanah, ʾelqānâ בֶּן the son bēn יְרֹחָ֔ם of Jeroham, yĕrōḥām בֶּן the son bēn אֱלִיאֵ֖ל of Eliel, ʾĕlîʾēl בֶּן the son bēn תּֽוֹחַ׃ of Toah, tôaḥ

בֶּן The son bēn ציּף֙ of Zuph, ṣûp בֶּן the son bēn אֶלְקָנָ֔ה of Elkanah, ʾelqānâ בֶּן the son bēn מַ֖חַת of Mahath, maḥat בֶּן the son bēn עֲמָשָֽׂי׃ of Amasai, ʿămāśay

בֶּן The son bēn אֶלְקָנָה֙ of Elkanah, ʾelqānâ בֶּן the son bēn יוֹאֵ֔ל of Joel, yôʾēl בֶּן the son bēn עֲזַרְיָ֖ה of Azariah, ʿăzaryâ בֶּן the son bēn צְפַנְיָֽה׃ of Zephaniah, ṣĕpanyâ

בֶּן The son bēn תַּ֙חַת֙ of Tahath, taḥat בֶּן the son bēn אַסִּ֔יר of Assir, ʾassîr בֶּן the son bēn אֶבְיָסָ֖ף of Ebiasaph, ʾebyāsāp בֶּן the son bēn קֹֽרַח׃ of Korah, qōraḥ

בֶּן The son bēn יִצְהָ֣ר of Izhar, yiṣhār בֶּן the son bēn קְהָ֔ת of Kohath, qĕhāt בֶּן the son bēn לֵוִ֖י of Levi, lēwî בֶּן the son bēn יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel. yiśrāʾēl

וְאָחִ֣יו And his brother ʾāḥ אָסָ֔ף Asaph, ʾāsāp הָֽעֹמֵ֖ד who stood ʿāmad עַל on ʿal יְמִינ֑וֹ his right hand, yāmîn אָסָ֥ף Asaph ʾāsāp בֶּן the son bēn בֶּֽרֶכְיָ֖הוּ of Berachiah, berekyâ בֶּן the son bēn שִׁמְעָֽא׃ of Shimea, šimʿāʾ

בֶּן The son bēn מִֽיכָאֵ֥ל of Michael, mîkāʾēl בֶּן the son bēn בַּֽעֲשֵׂיָ֖ה of Baaseiah, baʿăśēyâ בֶּן the son bēn מַלְכִּיָּֽה׃ of Malchiah, malkiyyâ

בֶּן The son bēn אֶתְנִ֥י of Ethni, ʾetnî בֶן the son bēn זֶ֖רַח of Zerah, zeraḥ בֶּן the son bēn עֲדָיָֽה׃ of Adaiah, ʿădāyâ

בֶּן The son bēn אֵיתָ֥ן of Ethan, ʾêtān בֶּן the son bēn זִמָּ֖ה of Zimmah, zimmâ בֶּן the son bēn שִׁמְעִֽי׃ of Shimei, šimʿî

בֶּן The son bēn יַ֥חַת of Jahath, yaḥat בֶּן the son bēn גֵּֽרְשֹׁ֖ם of Gershom, gērĕšōm בֶּן the son bēn לֵוִֽי׃ of Levi. lēwî

בֶּן The son bēn חֲשַׁבְיָ֥ה of Hashabiah, ḥăšabyâ בֶן the son bēn אֲמַצְיָ֖ה of Amaziah, ʾămaṣyâ בֶּן the son bēn חִלְקִיָּֽה׃ of Hilkiah, ḥilqiyyâ

בֶּן The son bēn אַמְצִ֥י of Amzi, ʾamṣî בֶן the son bēn בָּנִ֖י of Bani, bānî בֶּן the son bēn שָֽׁמֶר׃ of Shamer, šemer

בֶּן The son bēn מַחְלִי֙ of Mahli, maḥlî בֶּן the son bēn מוּשִׁ֔י of Mushi, mûšî בֶּן the son bēn מְרָרִ֖י of Merari, mĕrārî בֶּן the son bēn לֵוִֽי׃ of Levi. lēwî

וַֽאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם Their brethren ʾāḥ הַלְוִיִּ֑ם also the Levites lēwiyyî נְתוּנִ֕ים appointed nātan לְכָ֨ל unto all manner kōl עֲבוֹדַ֔ת of service ʿăbōdâ מִשְׁכַּ֖ן of the tabernacle miškān בֵּ֥ית of the house bayit הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ of God. ʾĕlōhîm

וְֽאַהֲרֹ֨ן But Aaron ʾahărôn וּבָנָ֜יו and his sons bēn מַקְטִירִ֨ים offered qāṭar עַל upon ʿal מִזְבַּ֤ח the altar mizbēaḥ הָֽעוֹלָה֙ of the burnt offering, ʿōlâ וְעַל and on ʿal מִזְבַּ֣ח the altar mizbēaḥ הַקְּטֹ֔רֶת of incense, qĕṭōret לְכֹ֕ל for all kōl מְלֶ֖אכֶת the work mĕlāʾkâ קֹ֣דֶשׁ of the most qōdeš הַקֳּדָשִׁ֑ים holy, qōdeš וּלְכַפֵּר֙ and to make an atonement kāpar עַל for ʿal יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel, yiśrāʾēl כְּכֹל֙ according to all kōl אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ʾăšer צִוָּ֔ה had commanded. ṣāwâ מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses mōše עֶ֥בֶד the servant ʿebed הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ of God ʾĕlōhîm

מְרָי֥וֹת Meraioth mĕrāyôt בְּנ֛וֹ his son, bēn אֲמַרְיָ֥ה Amariah ʾămaryâ בְנ֖וֹ his son, bēn אֲחִיט֥וּב Ahitub ʾăḥîṭûb בְּנֽוֹ׃ his son, bēn

צָד֥וֹק Zadok ṣādôq בְּנ֖וֹ his son, bēn אֲחִימַ֥עַץ Ahimaaz ʾăḥîmaʿaṣ בְּנֽוֹ׃ his son. bēn

וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ Now these ʾēlle מֽוֹשְׁבוֹתָ֔ם their dwelling places môšāb לְטִֽירוֹתָ֖ם throughout their castles ṭîrâ בִּגְבוּלָ֑ם in their coasts, gĕbûl לִבְנֵ֤י of the sons bēn אַֽהֲרֹן֙ of Aaron, ʾahărôn לְמִשְׁפַּחַ֣ת of the families mišpāḥâ הַקְּהָתִ֔י of the Kohathites: qŏhātî כִּ֥י for kî לָהֶ֖ם hēm הָיָ֥ה theirs was hāyâ הַגּוֹרָֽל׃ the lot. gôrāl

וַֽיִּתְּנ֥וּ And they gave nātan לָהֶ֛ם hēm אֶת them ʾēt חֶבְר֖וֹן Hebron ḥebrôn בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land ʾereṣ יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah, yĕhûdâ וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֖יהָ and the suburbs migroš סְבִֽיבֹתֶֽיהָ׃ thereof round about it. sābîb

וְאֶת ʾēt שְׂדֵ֥ה But the fields śāde הָעִ֖יר of the city, ʿîr וְאֶת ʾēt חֲצֵרֶ֑יהָ and the villages ḥāṣēr נָֽתְנ֖וּ thereof, they gave nātan לְכָלֵ֥ב to Caleb kālēb בֶּן the son bēn יְפֻנֶּֽה׃ of Jephunneh. yĕpunne

וְלִבְנֵ֣י And to the sons bēn אַֽהֲרֹ֗ן of Aaron ʾahărôn נָֽתְנוּ֙ they gave nātan אֶת ʾēt עָרֵ֣י the cities ʿîr הַמִּקְלָ֔ט of refuge, miqlāṭ אֶת of Judah, ʾēt חֶבְר֥וֹן Hebron, ḥebrôn וְאֶת ʾēt לִבְנָ֖ה and Libnah libnâ וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt יַתִּ֥ר and Jattir, yattîr וְאֶֽת ʾēt אֶשְׁתְּמֹ֖עַ and Eshtemoa, ʾeštĕmōaʿ וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with their suburbs, migroš

וְאֶת ʾēt חִילֵז֙ And Hilen ḥîlēn וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ with her suburbs, migroš אֶת ʾēt דְּבִ֖יר Debir dĕbîr וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs, migroš

וְאֶת ʾēt עָשָׁן֙ And Ashan ʿāšān וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt בֵּ֥ית שֶׁ֖מֶשׁ and Beth-shemesh bêt šemeš וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs: migroš

וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה And out of the tribe maṭṭe בִנְיָמִ֗ן of Benjamin; binyāmîn אֶת ʾēt גֶּ֤בַע Geba gebaʿ וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֙יהָ֙ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt עָלֶ֣מֶת and Alemeth ʿālemet וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt עֲנָת֖וֹת and Anathoth ʿănātôt וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ with her suburbs. migroš כָּל All kōl עָֽרֵיהֶ֛ם their cities ʿîr שְׁלֹשׁ thirteen šālôš עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה ʿāśār עִ֖יר cities. ʿîr בְּמִשְׁפְּחֽוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ throughout their families mišpāḥâ

וְלִבְנֵ֨י And unto the sons bēn קְהָ֜ת of Kohath, qĕhāt הַנּֽוֹתָרִ֗ים left yātar מִמִּשְׁפַּ֣חַת of the family mišpāḥâ הַמַּטֶּ֡ה of that tribe, maṭṭe מִֽ֠מַּחֲצִית the half maḥăṣît מַטֵּ֨ה tribe, maṭṭe חֲצִ֧י out of the half ḥēṣî מְנַשֶּׁ֛ה of Manasseh, mĕnašše בַּגּוֹרָ֖ל by lot, gôrāl עָרִ֥ים cities. ʿîr עָֽשֶׂר׃ ten ʿeśer

וְלִבְנֵ֨י And to the sons bēn גֵֽרְשׁ֜וֹם of Gershom gērĕšōm לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָ֗ם throughout their families mišpāḥâ מִמַּטֵּ֣ה out of the tribe maṭṭe יִ֠שָׂשכָר of Issachar, yiśśokār וּמִמַּטֵּ֨ה and out of the tribe maṭṭe אָשֵׁ֜ר of Asher, ʾāšēr וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה and out of the tribe maṭṭe נַפְתָּלִ֗י of Naphtali, naptālî וּמִמַּטֵּ֤ה and out of the tribe maṭṭe מְנַשֶּׁה֙ of Manasseh mĕnašše בַּבָּשָׁ֔ן in Bashan, bāšān עָרִ֖ים cities. ʿîr שְׁלֹ֥שׁ thirteen šālôš עֶשְׂרֵֽה׃ ʿāśār

לִבְנֵ֨י Unto the sons bēn מְרָרִ֜י of Merari mĕrārî לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָ֗ם throughout their families, mišpāḥâ מִמַּטֵּ֣ה out of the tribe maṭṭe רְ֠אוּבֵן of Reuben, rĕʾûbēn וּֽמִמַּטֵּה and out of the tribe maṭṭe גָ֞ד of Gad, gād וּמִמַּטֵּ֤ה and out of the tribe maṭṭe זְבֻלוּן֙ of Zebulun, zĕbûlûn בַּגּוֹרָ֔ל by lot, gôrāl עָרִ֖ים cities. ʿîr שְׁתֵּ֥ים twelve šĕnayim עֶשְׂרֵֽה׃ ʿāśār

וַיִּתְּנ֥וּ gave nātan בְנֵֽי And the children bēn יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel yiśrāʾēl לַלְוִיִּ֑ם to the Levites lēwiyyî אֶת ʾēt הֶֽעָרִ֖ים cities ʿîr וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽם׃ with their suburbs. migroš

וַיִּתְּנ֣וּ And they gave nātan בַגּוֹרָ֗ל by lot gôrāl מִמַּטֵּ֤ה out of the tribe maṭṭe בְנֵֽי of the children bēn יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah, yĕhûdâ וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה and out of the tribe maṭṭe בְנֵֽי of the children bēn שִׁמְע֔וֹן of Simeon, šimʿôn וּמִמַּטֵּ֖ה and out of the tribe maṭṭe בְּנֵ֣י of the children bēn בִנְיָמִ֑ן of Benjamin, binyāmîn אֵ֚ת ʾēt הֶֽעָרִ֣ים cities, ʿîr הָאֵ֔לֶּה these ʾēlle אֲשֶׁר which ʾăšer יִקְרְא֥וּ are called qārāʾ אֶתְהֶ֖ם ʾēt בְּשֵׁמֽוֹת׃ by names. šēm

וּמִֽמִּשְׁפְּח֖וֹת And of the families mišpāḥâ בְּנֵ֣י of the sons bēn קְהָ֑ת of Kohath qĕhāt וַֽיְהִי֙ had hāyâ עָרֵ֣י cities ʿîr גְבוּלָ֔ם of their coasts gĕbûl מִמַּטֵּ֖ה out of the tribe maṭṭe אֶפְרָֽיִם׃ of Ephraim. ʾeprayim

וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ And they gave nātan לָהֶ֜ם אֶת unto them, ʾēt עָרֵ֧י the cities ʿîr הַמִּקְלָ֛ט of refuge, miqlāṭ אֶת ʾēt שְׁכֶ֥ם Shechem šĕkem וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֖יהָ with her suburbs; migroš בְּהַ֣ר in mount har אֶפְרָ֑יִם Ephraim ʾeprayim וְאֶת ʾēt גֶּ֖זֶר also Gezer gezer וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs, migroš

וְאֶֽת ʾēt יָקְמְעָם֙ And Jokmeam yoqmĕʿām וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt בֵּ֥ית חוֹר֖וֹן and Beth-horon bêt ḥôrôn וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs, migroš

וְאֶת ʾēt אַיָּלוֹן֙ And Aijalon ʾayyālôn וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt גַּת רִמּ֖וֹן and Gath-rimmon gat rimmôn וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs: migroš

וּמִֽמַּחֲצִית֙ And out of the half maḥăṣît מַטֵּ֣ה tribe maṭṭe מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה of Manasseh; mĕnašše אֶת ʾēt עָנֵר֙ Aner ʿānēr וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt בִּלְעָ֖ם and Bileam bilʿām וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ with her suburbs, migroš לְמִשְׁפַּ֥חַת for the family mišpāḥâ לִבְנֵֽי of the sons bēn קְהָ֖ת of Kohath. qĕhāt הַנּֽוֹתָרִֽים׃ of the remnant yātar

לִבְנֵי֮ Unto the sons bēn גֵּֽרְשׁוֹם֒ of Gershom gērĕšōm מִמִּשְׁפַּ֗חַת out of the family mišpāḥâ חֲצִי֙ of the half ḥēṣî מַטֵּ֣ה tribe maṭṭe מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה of Manasseh, mĕnašše אֶת ʾēt גּוֹלָ֥ן Golan gôlān בַּבָּשָׁ֖ן in Bashan bāšān וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt עַשְׁתָּר֖וֹת and Ashtaroth ʿaštārôt וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs: migroš

וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה And out of the tribe maṭṭe יִשָׂשכָ֔ר of Issachar; yiśśokār אֶת ʾēt קֶ֖דֶשׁ Kedesh qedeš וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ with her suburbs, migroš אֶת ʾēt דָּֽבְרַ֖ת Daberath dăbrat וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs, migroš

וְאֶת ʾēt רָאמוֹת֙ And Ramoth rāʾmôt וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt עָנֵ֖ם and Anem ʿānēm וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs: migroš

וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה And out of the tribe maṭṭe אָשֵׁ֔ר of Asher; ʾāšēr אֶת ʾēt מָשָׁ֖ל Mashal māšāl וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt עַבְדּ֖וֹן and Abdon ʿabdôn וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs, migroš

וְאֶת ʾēt חוּקֹק֙ And Hukok ḥuqqōq וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt רְחֹ֖ב and Rehob rĕḥōb וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs: migroš

וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה And out of the tribe maṭṭe נַפְתָּלִ֗י of Naphtali; naptālî אֶת ʾēt קֶ֤דֶשׁ Kedesh qedeš בַּגָּלִיל֙ in Galilee gālîl וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt חַמּ֖וֹן and Hammon ḥammôn וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt קִרְיָתַ֖יִם and Kirjathaim qiryātayim וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs. migroš

לִבְנֵ֣י of the children bēn מְרָרִי֮ of Merari mĕrārî הַנּֽוֹתָרִים֒ Unto the rest yātar מִמַּטֵּ֣ה out of the tribe maṭṭe זְבֻל֔וּן of Zebulun, zĕbûlûn אֶת ʾēt רִמּוֹנ֖וֹ Rimmon rimmôn וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ with her suburbs, migroš אֶת ʾēt תָּב֖וֹר Tabor tābôr וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs: migroš

וּמֵעֵ֜בֶר And on the other side ʿēber לְיַרְדֵּ֣ן Jordan yardēn יְרֵחוֹ֮ by Jericho, yĕrîḥô לְמִזְרַ֣ח on the east side mizrāḥ הַיַּרְדֵּן֒ of Jordan, yardēn מִמַּטֵּ֣ה out of the tribe maṭṭe רְאוּבֵ֔ן of Reuben, rĕʾûbēn אֶת ʾēt בֶּ֥צֶר Bezer beṣer בַּמִּדְבָּ֖ר in the wilderness midbār וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt יַ֖הְצָה and Jahzah yahaṣ וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs, migroš

וְאֶת ʾēt קְדֵמוֹת֙ Kedemoth qĕdēmôt וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ also with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt מֵיפַ֖עַת and Mephaath môpaʿat וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs: migroš

וּמִ֨מַּטֵּה And out of the tribe maṭṭe גָ֔ד of Gad; gād אֶת ʾēt רָאמ֥וֹת Ramoth rāʾmôt בַּגִּלְעָ֖ד in Gilead gilʿād וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶֽת ʾēt מַחֲנַ֖יִם and Mahanaim maḥănayim וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs, migroš

וְאֶת ʾēt חֶשְׁבּוֹן֙ And Heshbon ḥešbôn וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ with her suburbs, migroš וְאֶת ʾēt יַעְזֵ֖יר and Jazer yaʿăzêr וְאֶת ʾēt מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ with her suburbs. migroš
