உனக்கும் ஸ்திரீக்கும், உன் வித்துக்கும் அவள் வித்துக்கும் பகை உண்டாக்குவேன்; அவர் உன் தலையை நசுக்குவார், நீ அவர் குதிங்காலை நசுக்குவாய் என்றார்.
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
பின்னும் கர்த்தர்: சீமோனே, சீமோனே, இதோ, கோதுமையைச் சுளகினால் புடைக்கிறதுபோலச் சாத்தான் உங்களைப் புடைக்கிறதற்கு உத்தரவு கேட்டுக்கொண்டான்.
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
நானோ உன் விசுவாசம் ஒழிந்துபோகாதபடிக்கு உனக்காக வேண்டிக்கொண்டேன்: நீ குணப்பட்டபின்பு உன் சகோதரை ஸ்திரப்படுத்து என்றார்.
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
சமாதானத்தின் தேவன் சீக்கிரமாய்ச் சாத்தானை உங்கள் கால்களின் கீழே நசுக்கிப்போடுவார். நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய கிருபை உங்களுடனேகூட இருப்பதாக. ஆமென்.
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
ஆகையால், தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருங்கள்; பிசாசுக்கு எதிர்த்து நில்லுங்கள், அப்பொழுது அவன் உங்களைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போவான்.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
பிதாக்களே, ஆதிமுதலிருக்கிறவரை நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதினால் உங்களுக்கு எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். வாலிபரே, நீங்கள் பலவான்களாயிருக்கிறதினாலும், தேவவசனம் உங்களில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறதினாலும், நீங்கள் பொல்லாங்கனை ஜெயித்ததினாலும், உங்களுக்கு எழுதியிருக்கிறேன்.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
தேவனால் பிறந்த எவனும் பாவஞ்செய்யானென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்; தேவனால் பிறந்தவன் தன்னைக் காக்கிறான், பொல்லாங்கன் அவனைத் தொடான்.
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
